Front Pair
The driver and front passenger windows. A popular choice for trucks and SUVs with factory privacy glass in the rear, or for drivers who simply want to upgrade the front doors.
Full Vehicle Surround
The industry-standard window tint package covering the side and rear windows of the vehicle. Windshield and roof glass are separate unless specifically added.
Full Vehicle + Windshield
Full side-and-rear window coverage plus a compatible full windshield. A more complete approach for glare reduction, UV protection, heat control, and a consistent cabin environment.
Full Windshield
Film applied across compatible windshield glass to help reduce glare, UV exposure, and solar heat. Vehicle compatibility, sensors, cameras, and applicable requirements are reviewed before installation.
Windshield Strip
A tinted band across the upper windshield designed to reduce overhead sunlight and glare without covering the entire windshield. Height and placement depend on the vehicle and applicable requirements.
Sunroof / Panoramic Roof
Film for compatible sunroof or panoramic roof glass to help reduce glare and solar heat through the roof. Glass construction and vehicle compatibility are reviewed before installation.

How Dark Should You Go?
VLT means visible light transmission. Higher percentages let more visible light through; lower percentages look darker.
Your factory glass and film work together, so the film label is not the final meter reading. Vehicle, interior, lighting, and viewing angle change the look. Darker tint also reduces outward visibility at night.

Massachusetts and Rhode Island have different Window Tint rules. Registration state, vehicle classification, glass position, and approved exemptions can affect the answer.
A meter reads the glass and film together. Windshield restrictions need particular attention, even when a product is available in a light shade.

Factory glass + film
Already Have Dark Rear Glass?
Many trucks and SUVs have darker rear glass from the factory. Its appearance is built into the glass; it is different from an applied film.
We compare Color Stable, XR Black, and XR Plus against the vehicle. Front-door ceramic film can add heat performance while driving, and on some vehicles may offer the closer visual blend.
Want more heat rejection without a much darker look? A light 70% ceramic film over factory rear privacy glass can add heat rejection while minimally changing its appearance.
An exact match in darkness, color, or reflection is not guaranteed. Existing glass also changes the final combined VLT.

Full Windshield
Where legally permitted and compatible with your vehicle, ceramic windshield film helps reduce incoming infrared heat and UV exposure for greater comfort. UV filtration can also help limit interior fading.
Windshield Strip
A tinted upper band helps control overhead sun and glare and can reduce how often you need to lower a visor that blocks part of your view. We confirm strip height and placement for your vehicle.
Sunroof / Panoramic Roof
Large glass roofs bring sunlight and heat directly overhead. Ceramic film helps reduce solar heat and glare, while a darker shade can dim the entire cabin for a more comfortable feel. We confirm roof-glass construction and compatibility before installation.

Keep movable windows closed for 3–5 days in normal conditions, or 5–7 days during below-freezing temperatures or colder winter conditions. Wait 7 days before cleaning the film-facing inside glass. Do not use the rear defroster until the tint has cured. Temporary haze or moisture can remain for approximately 1–2 weeks, with cold or damp conditions extending drying time.

Side-Window Film Support.
Qualifying packages include one film replacement on one covered roll-down side window during a three-year term for the original customer and vehicle. Should I choose Privacy Tint or Ceramic Tint?
Start with Color Stable when appearance, daytime privacy, and value matter most. Start with XR Black or XR Plus when stronger heat rejection and cabin comfort are priorities. Ceramic film comes in multiple shades and does not need to be very dark.
How much does Window Tint start at?
Front two windows start at $175 with Color Stable, $225 with XR Black, or $300 with XR Plus. Full Vehicle Surround starts at $400, $525, or $750 respectively. Final pricing depends on the vehicle, coverage, glass compatibility, and any old-film or adhesive removal.
What is the difference between Color Stable, XR Black, and XR Plus?
Color Stable is a dyed film focused on appearance and value. XR Black uses nano-ceramic technology for balanced ceramic performance. XR Plus uses multi-layer ceramic technology and is XPEL’s highest PRIME ceramic tier, with greater infrared rejection than XR Black.
Does darker tint reject more heat?
Not necessarily. VLT describes visible light transmission; heat performance depends on the film technology and specifications. Compare products separately from shade, and feel the difference on our shop heat display.
What shade should I choose?
Compare your preferred shade with the next lighter option beside your vehicle. Consider factory glass, interior color, night driving, and the glass location. We review the current requirements and the actual vehicle before confirming your choice.
Can front windows match factory rear privacy glass?
We compare Color Stable, XR Black, and XR Plus against your existing glass to aim for a coordinated appearance. Ceramic may offer the closer visual match on some vehicles while adding heat performance. Exact darkness, color, and reflection cannot be guaranteed.
Does Full Vehicle Surround include the windshield?
No. Full Vehicle Surround covers the quoted side and rear glass. Windshield and roof glass are separate coverage choices, subject to compatibility and eligibility review.
Can you tint windshield or roof glass?
We review the vehicle, glass construction, coatings, cameras, sensors, and current legal requirements before recommending full-windshield, strip, sunroof, or panoramic-roof coverage. Availability of a film does not establish eligibility.
How long does installation take?
Timing depends on the vehicle, the windows being tinted, access, and any existing-film removal. We confirm the expected appointment length when reviewing the job. A comfortable customer lounge is available during many tint appointments.
