The direct answer

Two coverage questions. One inspection path.

SPYNEX equipmentA qualifying defect or failure in covered SPYNEX equipment.Exact product, warrantor, written period and start event, eligibility, remedy and exclusions.
Kickin’ Customs installationA qualifying concern caused by our original SPYNEX installation.Written terms for the original invoice, installation, vehicle, owner and approved later work.
Other diagnosis or serviceVehicle faults, maintenance, damage, outside work, changes, transfers or issues outside coverage. The diagnostic or repair work you approve before chargeable work begins.

Check the documents issued for your installation. No SPYNEX duration, lifetime benefit, free replacement, post-warranty labor benefit or automatic transfer is promised on this page. IGLA terms are separate.

A request is not theft insurance or approval of coverage, replacement, reimbursement or continued vehicle operation. Equipment coverage does not automatically make diagnosis, removal, programming, shipping, reinstallation, vehicle repairs, towing, rental, travel or outside labor free.

Separate responsibilities

Start with the product and the written record.

SPYNEX equipment coverage

SPYNEX Pin, SPYNEX Tag, tags, accessories and replacement devices must not be assumed to share one term. The written record should identify the covered equipment and the date or event that starts coverage.

A suspected failure still requires diagnosis. Vehicle power, keys, factory electronics, software, remote start, connected services, prior work, configuration or damage can produce similar symptoms.

Kickin’ Customs installation coverage

Qualifying concerns caused by our original installation are considered under the separate written installation terms. A failed device, unrelated vehicle fault or later outside work is a different question.

Installation coverage does not mean equipment is covered forever, all future labor is free or a changed vehicle, owner or system receives new coverage.

Contact Kickin’ Customs before equipment is opened, removed, modified, reprogrammed, transferred or replaced. Outside work can change the evidence, create faults or affect a reliable coverage decision.

Diagnosis comes first

These situations need review, not an assumed approval.

  • Vehicle battery events, jump-starting, starting problems, factory warning lights or key concerns.
  • Dealer programming, new keys, software updates, recalls, repairs or module replacement.
  • Changes to remote start, alarms, GPS, dashcams, audio, lighting or other electronics.
  • Collision, attempted theft, forced entry, towing, fire, water, contamination, corrosion, heat, impact or other damage.
  • Tampering, misuse, outside testing, modification, removal, repair or reinstallation.
  • Work by another shop, dealer, technician, owner, insurer, body shop or tow provider.
  • Lost, depleted, damaged or replaced phones, tags, accessories or owner materials.
  • Vehicle sale, ownership change, transfer, elective removal, upgrade or configuration changes.
  • Towing, travel, shipping, storage, rentals, loss of use, insurance deductibles, theft losses, business interruption or damage to other systems.

These are common review categories, not a final exclusion schedule. The written SPYNEX and Kickin’ Customs terms control.

Original installation & ownership

Coverage does not automatically restart or transfer.

A vehicle sale, replacement device, system move or revised configuration needs a written review of eligibility, remaining coverage, compatibility, condition, labor and support. Do not assume coverage follows another owner or vehicle.

If we approve a transfer or reinstallation, the work order identifies what is reused or replaced, any remaining or new coverage, and which date controls. Use verified owner support for private record changes. Do not pass the former owner’s PIN, account access or secret materials through an ordinary sale message.

Requesting warranty service

Bring the vehicle to Raynham for evaluation.

  1. Keep the vehicle safe

Use emergency services for immediate danger and roadside assistance if stranded. Do not keep trying to start or drive a vehicle with unsafe or unpredictable behavior.

  2. Contact us before outside work

Describe symptoms and recent changes. Do not send credentials, authorization routines, system locations or wiring images.

  3. Gather your records

Bring the invoice, written coverage, product as documented, vehicle and ownership information, and recent service records.

  4. Schedule an in-person inspection

We review equipment, installation, vehicle systems, damage, prior work, configuration and other possible causes.

  5. Review the decision and next work

We explain applicable written coverage or proposed chargeable work before proceeding.

A call, form, appointment, fault code, suspected failed part or another repair opinion does not establish coverage. Staff must diagnose the cause and record the decision. No request is labeled approved in advance.

Diagnosis & cost responsibility

Know the work and the cost before it starts.

We explain chargeable diagnosis, access, removal, programming, parts, shipping, reinstallation, vehicle repairs, storage or other work before it starts whenever it can reasonably be determined. If new findings change the work, we seek approval again.

Do not assume reimbursement for outside labor, mobile service, dealer work, towing, shipping, rentals, travel, lodging, lost time or income, or parts bought elsewhere. Any benefit must be provided by the written terms.

Owner responsibilities

Protect your records and your security.

  • Keep the invoice, work order, coverage document and approved owner materials.
  • Use the system as delivered and maintain vehicle power, keys and factory systems.
  • Contact us before relevant dealer, battery, repair, accessory or transfer work.
  • Report concerns promptly and stop driving if behavior is unsafe.
  • Do not open, move, modify, test, repair or expose the installation.
  • Provide accurate ownership, vehicle, service-history and symptom information.

Never send a PIN or possible PIN, app password, secret code, owner card, pairing code, recovery credential, full authorization video, module location, wiring image or installer information through this form. Private procedures belong in verified owner support or an in-person appointment.

SPYNEX Warranty FAQ

Common coverage questions.

How long is the SPYNEX equipment warranty?

The exact period and start event must be stated in the current written coverage issued for your SPYNEX product. Kickin' Customs will not substitute the IGLA equipment term or publish an assumed SPYNEX duration.

Does Kickin' Customs provide a lifetime installation warranty on SPYNEX?

Do not assume that the IGLA lifetime installation term applies to SPYNEX. The written Kickin' Customs coverage for the original SPYNEX installation controls the duration, eligibility, remedy, and exclusions.

Is labor included if SPYNEX equipment fails?

Labor responsibility depends on the active written equipment and installation terms, the diagnosed cause, and the exact work required. A claim must be inspected before parts, programming, removal, or reinstallation labor is approved.

Does SPYNEX include the same one-time post-warranty labor benefit as IGLA?

No shared benefit should be assumed. The approved IGLA post-warranty labor benefit is specific to the original IGLA installation. Any SPYNEX benefit must be separately approved and provided in writing.

Does a no-start mean my SPYNEX system failed?

Not necessarily. The vehicle battery, factory key, vehicle electronics, software, remote start, connected services, another aftermarket system, prior work, or the immobilizer may be involved. Diagnosis is required.

Can another shop diagnose or replace the system and send Kickin' Customs the bill?

Do not assume reimbursement or coverage for outside work. Contact Kickin' Customs before removal, repair, replacement, programming, or electrical work elsewhere. The approved written terms control any exception.

Does coverage transfer if I sell the vehicle?

Transfer is not automatic. The written SPYNEX and Kickin' Customs terms must state whether coverage follows the original purchaser, vehicle, system, or another approved condition.

Does moving SPYNEX to another vehicle restart coverage?

Do not assume that it does. Compatibility, condition, remaining coverage, new parts, programming, installation labor, and the controlling date require written review before a transfer is approved.

Does the warranty cover theft, attempted-theft damage, collision, towing, or a rental vehicle?

A SPYNEX warranty is not theft or vehicle insurance. Theft loss, physical damage, towing, transportation, rental, loss of use, deductibles, and damage to other systems are not automatically included and are controlled by the written terms and applicable insurance.

Will installing SPYNEX guarantee that my factory vehicle warranty stays intact?

Kickin' Customs does not make a blanket factory-warranty guarantee. Treatment depends on the vehicle manufacturer, the issue being diagnosed, applicable rules, the installation, and whether the added system caused or contributed to the concern.

What should I bring to a warranty inspection?

Bring the vehicle, invoice or work order, written coverage, product as documented, ownership information, and records for recent battery, key, dealer, collision, towing, software, repair, or accessory work.

Can Kickin' Customs support a SPYNEX system installed elsewhere?

Kickin' Customs may offer a paid inspection when the system can be supported safely, but it does not assume responsibility for undocumented hardware, wiring, programming, damage, credentials, firmware, or workmanship from another installer.
