Southeastern Massachusetts & Rhode Island
Protect the surfaces you use every day.
Explore clear and satin surface protection film for compatible countertops, tables, vanities, cabinet panels and other finished surfaces where everyday contact can create wear. Serving homes throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island from Raynham.
Make the space work for you
A kitchen island, dining table or bathroom vanity is meant to be used, but everyday contact can gradually leave marks on a finish you invested in. Keys, bags, sliding objects and repeated handling can create light scuffs that may be difficult or costly to correct.
On suitable, fully cured surfaces, professionally installed surface protection film adds a physical layer over the original finish. Selected everyday contact reaches the film first, helping protect the covered surface underneath. The film we use also has self-healing properties that help light surface marks diminish. Depending on the product and condition, the film may also be replaceable when needed.

Discuss the high-contact areas that matter to your household, from a busy island to a favorite table.
Understand cleaning and any future replacement options before choosing a film.
Protection film is not knife-proof, scratch-proof or heat-proof. Continue using cutting boards and trivets. Direct food-contact use requires approval for the exact product and application.
Surface protection film is a flexible protective sheet professionally fitted over an approved finished surface. It provides a separate wear layer between everyday contact and the original finish. Different products may offer clear or satin appearances, depending on suitability and availability.
The film has physical thickness, and edges, seams or cutouts may remain visible. We review actual samples and the proposed coverage before installation.

Your starting point
These are potential applications. Select one to begin a conversation about the material and how you use it.

High-use finished surfaces, reviewed for material and daily use.

A potential wear layer for a favorite finished table.

Explore protection for compatible smooth desktop finishes.

Review the finish, water exposure and sink transitions.

Nonfunctional panels, subject to factory-finish and heat review.

Smooth, stable faces with a compatible existing finish.

Two different jobs
Film takes selected contact on the covered face, with edges, seams and future replacement to consider.
A thin treatment may improve cleaning or water behavior, but it does not provide the same physical barrier.
Professional preparation
Installing film on a home surface involves more than covering a flat area. The existing finish must be suitable, the film must be compatible, and edges, cutouts, seams and appearance all require planning. Kickin' Customs reviews these details before recommending coverage, helping customers understand both the potential protection and the limitations.
Review the material, finish, sealers, previous treatments, repairs and full cure.
Compare appearance and agree on covered faces, seams, cutouts and edge exclusions.
Clean and prepare with the approved method, then explain cure, cleaning and daily-use limits.
Keep using cutting boards and heat-safe trivets. Film is not knife-proof, heat-proof, scratch-proof, damage-proof or an automatic food-contact approval. It does not waterproof seams, caulk, cabinets or the underlying construction.
Unknown finishes, raw or open-grain wood, wax, oil, soft paint, failing lacquer, loose laminate and active moisture can make a surface unsuitable. Natural stone, lacquer, wood and appliances each need specific review. Do not cover vents, controls, sensors, required labels or service access.
Spills can reach edges, seams, damage or uncovered areas, so etch prevention is not guaranteed. Self-healing is limited to light surface marks; never use boiling water or a heat gun as a home repair. A small test does not prove long-term adhesion or safe future removal.
Professional installation
Share the room or surface, your main goal and the property town. Photos and approximate dimensions can follow.

Your project, clearly quoted
The exact surface, film, dimensions, preparation, covered faces, edge work and installation access shape the proposal.
Any applicable consultation, travel, samples, testing or site-visit charge is confirmed before that service is scheduled. No universal package price or free-visit promise applies.
A town, a room and a clear goal are useful starting points. We can discuss the details together.

A few useful answers
Protection film is a physical sheet with edges, possible seams and a replacement route. A coating is a much thinner treatment for selected cleaning or water-behavior goals. They serve different purposes.
Some smooth, stable, fully cured finishes may qualify. Exact stone, sealer, paint, lacquer, porosity, repairs and prior products matter. Raw wood, soft paint, wax, oil or failing finishes can make installation or later removal unsuitable.
It can take selected light wear, but it is not scratch-proof or an etch guarantee. Sharp objects, grit, pressure and impacts can mark or penetrate it. Edges, seams, damage and uncovered areas remain vulnerable to spills.
No. Continue using cutting boards and heat-safe trivets. Knives, hot cookware, appliances and concentrated heat can damage the film and the surface below.
Do not assume it is. Direct food-contact or food-preparation use requires current written approval for the exact film and application. Use appropriate barriers and follow the installed product’s care instructions.
It may change reflection, gloss, texture or color. Film edges, seams and cutouts can be visible. Compare a physical sample on the actual finish before approving clear or satin.
Only approved areas listed in the proposal are included. Waterfall faces, returns, backsplashes, cutouts, heat zones and seams need their own plan. Selecting an area here requests a review rather than approving installation.
Yes. The surface protection film we use has self-healing properties that can help light surface marks diminish. This does not repair cuts, burns, deep scratches or damaged material. Follow the product-specific care directions; do not use a heat gun or boiling water on a household surface.
Professional removal may be possible, but film, adhesive, age and the underlying finish affect the process. Fragile finishes can be damaged. Replacement areas may look different because of aging, lots or product availability.
Pricing depends on the material, dimensions, preparation, film, coverage, edges and access. The written proposal identifies the exact product, residential use, care, warranty, exclusions and removal responsibilities. Automotive film terms do not establish residential coverage.
