DroneMobile GPS Tracking Warranty

Manufacturer Warranty Information for Your GPS Tracking System

DroneMobile GPS tracking systems combine vehicle hardware, cellular connectivity, GPS location services, and mobile-app access.

Because the hardware and subscription service are separate, they have different coverage rules. This page explains the manufacturer warranty for eligible DroneMobile GPS tracking hardware installed by Kickin’ Customs, along with the important limits that apply to cellular, GPS, and app-based services.

The official DroneMobile warranty terms remain the controlling document.

Limited Lifetime
Warranty
Qualifying malfunctioning or defective hardware while the eligible one-year or longer Premium, Premium Plus, or Ultimate subscription remains active, the original hardware stays in the original vehicle, and the original owner retains the vehicle.

To qualify for limited lifetime hardware coverage, the original owner must maintain a one-year or longer Premium, Premium Plus, or Ultimate subscription, keep the original hardware in the original vehicle, and continue to own that vehicle.

Basic, month-to-month, and tracking-only plans do not qualify for the limited lifetime upgrade; standard eligible hardware coverage is one year.

Manufacturer warranty coverage does not include subscription fees, diagnostic work, removal, reinstallation, programming, troubleshooting, or other labor charges.

Hardware and Service Are Separate

Your DroneMobile GPS tracking system has two parts:

• DroneMobile hardware, which is installed in the vehicle
• DroneMobile cellular subscription service, which provides GPS tracking, app access, alerts, and connected features

The manufacturer warranty applies to qualifying hardware defects. It does not guarantee uninterrupted cellular service, GPS accuracy, app availability, or network performance.

Service fees, renewal, cancellation, and interruptions are governed by DroneMobile’s service terms, separately from hardware coverage. Expired service can stop connected functions. Warranty does not insure location history, promise an alert, or guarantee tracking, uptime, police response, or recovery.

Authorized Product Requirement

DroneMobile manufacturer warranty coverage applies only to products purchased and installed through an authorized DroneMobile retailer.

Products purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers or installed outside the authorized dealer network are not covered under Firstech’s manufacturer warranty.

Kickin’ Customs is an authorized DroneMobile retailer and installs eligible GPS tracking systems through the authorized channel.

DroneMobile GPS Tracking Hardware Warranty

Eligible DroneMobile GPS tracking hardware includes a one-year manufacturer warranty against qualifying malfunctioning or defective hardware.

The standard hardware warranty may qualify for limited lifetime coverage when all of the following conditions are met:

• The original owner maintains an active one-year or longer Premium, Premium Plus, or Ultimate subscription.
• The original DroneMobile hardware remains installed in the original vehicle.
• The system was purchased from and installed by an authorized DroneMobile retailer.
• The original purchaser continues to own the vehicle.

DroneMobile warranty coverage is non-transferable. It ends if the original owner sells the vehicle or removes the original hardware for installation in another vehicle.

The package’s included Tracking-only service does not qualify for the limited lifetime upgrade. Confirm the exact device and terms, particularly portable XT and any battery coverage, before relying on a vehicle-specific warranty summary. Do not assume a longer tracking term extends hardware coverage.

Registration Requirement

DroneMobile requires registration within the first 10 days of purchase. Keep your proof of purchase and registration confirmation.

Keep your original invoice and registration information with your vehicle records. If you are unsure whether your system was registered, contact Kickin’ Customs before warranty service is needed.

Cellular, GPS, and App Service Limitations

DroneMobile relies on cellular networks, GPS signals, cloud services, and mobile-app communication.

Coverage, location accuracy, app performance, alerts, and communication timing can be affected by conditions outside Firstech’s control, including:

• Cellular network availability
• Terrain, buildings, garages, and underground parking
• Weather and atmospheric conditions
• GPS signal interference
• Network outages or service interruptions
• Delayed or unavailable text, push, or app notifications

DroneMobile does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or fully accurate cellular, GPS, or app service.

A network interruption, delayed location update, GPS inaccuracy, or app-service issue does not create a hardware warranty claim or service refund entitlement.

What Is Not Covered

DroneMobile’s manufacturer warranty does not cover:

• Products not purchased and installed through an authorized retailer
• Diagnostic, removal, reinstallation, programming, configuration, troubleshooting, or other labor charges
• Subscription fees, cellular service charges, or service-plan renewals
• GPS, cellular, app, cloud, or network-service interruptions
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, modification, collision, water intrusion, or outside events
• Vehicle electrical concerns unrelated to a qualifying DroneMobile hardware defect
• Hardware removed from the original vehicle and installed elsewhere
• Warranty coverage after the original purchaser sells the vehicle
• Towing, rental vehicles, lost use, lost time, lost earnings, insurance deductibles, or other consequential costs
• Theft losses or damage caused by theft

DroneMobile GPS tracking is a connected vehicle-monitoring tool. It is not theft insurance and does not guarantee recovery of a vehicle or capture of every location event.

Labor and Installation

DroneMobile’s manufacturer warranty covers qualifying hardware, not labor.

If warranty service is needed, Kickin’ Customs will inspect the vehicle, identify the concern, and help determine whether the issue appears related to the hardware, installation, vehicle, configuration, or cellular service.

Diagnostic work, removal, reinstallation, programming, configuration, and related labor are not included under the DroneMobile manufacturer warranty. We will explain any applicable labor before work begins.

Kickin’ Customs workmanship or installation responsibility is separate from Firstech hardware coverage and DroneMobile service. Your written invoice and this GPS warranty guidance define the approved work; applicable manufacturer terms control hardware eligibility. No new labor or workmanship term is promised here.

Customer-supplied X2/X2MAX hardware receives no Kickin’ Customs product warranty. Manufacturer eligibility, if any, must be confirmed from its authorized-purchase and installation requirements. Diagnosis, parts, prior-work correction, removal, reinstallation, and specialty work are separate unless your written agreement includes them. Review customer-supplied installation pricing.
