The film matters. So does the installation.

Care in the details you’ll see every day.

Good protection starts before the first piece of film goes on. We work in bright, climate-controlled bays so preparation, fit, and finishing get the attention they need.

  1. Start with the paint.

We inspect the finish, clean and decontaminate the installation areas, and discuss any correction the paint needs. Film protects the finish underneath; preparing that finish helps it look its best.

  2. Fit the vehicle, not just the pattern.

Vehicle-specific patterns and appropriate customization help us work with the shape of each panel. Edges are wrapped where practical, and we remove all applicable emblems for a cleaner finish.

  3. Check the finished result.

We inspect the work panel by panel and walk you through care at handover. Your complimentary three-week check lets us review the film after it settles and supports your workmanship coverage.

Paint protection film or ceramic coating?

Choose film for a physical barrier. Add a compatible ceramic coating when easier washing and surface care are also priorities.

A few good questions

Before you choose your coverage.

How much does gloss PPF cost, including full-body coverage?

Sedan and coupe packages start at $1,595 for Strike Zone, $2,295 for Front-End Defense, $3,195 for Apex Defense, $5,195 for Urban Armor, and $6,995 for full-body Zero Exposure. SUV and truck starting prices are $1,795, $2,495, $3,495, $5,795, and $7,995 respectively. We confirm the vehicle category, coverage, and final price with your quote.

Which coverage should I choose for everyday driving?

Start with where your vehicle takes the most wear. Strike Zone targets leading impact areas; Front-End Defense completes the front end. Apex adds lower sides and forward-facing pillars, Urban adds doors and rear quarters or suitable bedsides, and Zero Exposure protects the full painted body. Highway use, parking conditions, and how much of the finish you want to preserve help guide the choice.

Will the film change the color or show at the edges?

ULTIMATE PLUS is transparent and keeps your original gloss and color visible. It can enhance perceived depth, but edges and film texture may be visible in certain light or on close inspection. We wrap edges where practical; panel design and access determine the finishing details.

What does self-healing actually repair?

Warmth can make many fine marks and swirls in the film’s topcoat less visible. Self-healing does not repair underlying paint, deep cuts, punctures, or film that has been torn away.

What are the limits of PPF protection?

PPF helps reduce many stone chips, light scuffs, and everyday surface wear. Severe impacts, sharp debris, deep cuts, dents, and collisions can still damage the film and paint. Contamination needs prompt cleaning, and the film is not a substitute for routine care.

What warranty and follow-up are included?

XPEL’s 10-year limited ULTIMATE PLUS product warranty covers specified manufacturing defects such as yellowing, cracking, blistering, and delamination under its written terms. Kickin’ Customs workmanship coverage is separate and requires the complimentary three-week inspection. Our eligible one-time replacement-film benefit is also separate; see the warranty page for full terms.

Can ceramic coating go over PPF?

Yes. An appropriate coating on compatible film can improve water behavior and make washing easier. PPF supplies the physical protective layer while the coating helps with surface care. We can quote the combination for your vehicle.

Can you install PPF over chips or repainted panels?

We inspect the paint and discuss preparation first. Chips, touch-ups, and other defects can remain visible under clear film. Repainted or poorly bonded surfaces can carry additional installation and removal risks, so please tell us about prior paintwork.

Can damaged film be removed or replaced?

Yes. Individual damaged sections can often be replaced, and removal should be handled professionally. Factory paint is generally the safest underlying surface; repaired or poorly bonded paint can lift during removal. We review the condition before recommending the work.

Is headlight protection included?

Front-End Defense and the higher coverage packages include suitable headlight coverage. The lens material, condition, and vehicle requirements determine suitability. We confirm that before installation.

How do I care for the film?

Do not wash for the first seven days. Allow roughly two to three weeks for settling, then use careful washing with a pH-neutral product and clean microfiber. Remove contamination promptly and keep pressure washers at least three feet away. Follow the product-specific care instructions and recommended maintenance supplied at handover.

How long does installation take?

The vehicle, selected coverage, and preparation needs determine time in the shop. We confirm timing with your quote and scheduling rather than promise the same turnaround for every installation.

Does PPF make sense for a daily driver?

Daily use is exactly where road debris, parking-area scuffs, and contamination can add up. You do not need full-body coverage to get useful protection. Choose the areas you want to preserve and the investment that fits how you use the vehicle.

What is the difference between gloss and matte PPF?

Gloss ULTIMATE PLUS preserves a glossy appearance. XPEL STEALTH produces a satin finish on suitable gloss paint or helps protect an existing matte or satin finish. Choose the appearance you want as well as the amount of coverage.

Where do you install PPF?

All installations take place at Kickin’ Customs, 244 North Main Street, Raynham, MA 02767. We serve drivers throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Call 617-431-6858, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
