What are you worried about?

What could happen while it’s parked?

Door openings, glass break, impact, wheel lifting, and cargo access need different detection.

Worried about unauthorized driving?

Alarms detect and alert. Immobilizers add separate driving authorization.

What an aftermarket alarm adds

Your factory security is the starting point.

Factory security follows manufacturer key and entry logic. A compatible Compustar alarm can add selected sensors, monitored areas, siren behavior, two-way feedback, and connected alerts.

The installed plan determines the protection.

A premium remote does not automatically include every sensor, opening, alert, or connected feature.

How should you hear about it?

01 / DETECTION

Choose the events that matter.

Openings
Doors, hood, trunk, hatch, and selected cargo areas where supported.
Impact / glass
Compatible impact and glass-break detection.
Lift / movement
Supported tilt and forward-motion detection.
Special concerns
Interior motion, cargo, or power interruption needs individual review.
Four functions, one compatible option.

Compatible DAS-II combines dual-stage impact, tilt, forward-motion, and glass-break detection. Specialty sensors and openings need separate review.

02 / COMMUNICATION

Choose how information reaches you.

01

One-way

Send commands without remote feedback. An included siren responds locally.

02

Two-way

Receive supported confirmation and alarm information within usable range.

03

Connected

Compatible DroneMobile hardware and active cellular service enable supported phone alerts/control. GPS requires eligible hardware and plans.

Detection depends on monitored areas and thresholds; do not assume every scratch, glass damage, or towing event is covered. Buildings, concrete, metal, terrain, interference, battery condition, and how you carry the remote affect range. Phone alerts also depend on coverage, power, account status, and permissions.

Want more than an alarm?

Optional connected security

Add the features you’ll use.

  • Phone alerts / control: supported events depend on your alarm installation and connected service.
  • GPS / movement / geofences: location features depend on selected hardware and an eligible plan.
  • Dashcam evidence: recording, parking coverage, and cloud features depend on camera equipment and services.

Hardware and plans may be separate. Working cellular coverage, power, account access, and phone settings matter; notifications can be delayed or missed.

Track only vehicles/assets you own or are authorized to monitor. Act on notifications safely. Never confront anyone.

Will it work with your vehicle?

We review year, make, model, trim, powertrain, transmission, keyed or push-button start, factory security, software, and features you want to retain.

Disclose existing electronics, previous installations, battery concerns, warning lights, or changed behavior. We may need inspection, added integration, different equipment, feature limits, or to decline a request.

Let’s check the features that matter to you.

Confirm your system & written quote

Confirm compatibility, equipment, detection, alerts, exclusions, and price before scheduling.

Install, test & learn the system

We install, test, and explain normal use, remotes, batteries, accounts, service visits, and support.

Support beyond installation.

Maintain remote batteries, active subscriptions, and account security. Tell us about changed vehicle behavior, extra electronics, suspension work, transport, or service that may affect sensors.

Nuisance alerts need inspection. Maximum sensitivity isn’t always desirable; zero false alarms cannot be guaranteed. Product and workmanship coverage are separate.

Your questions, answered

Before you choose.

What does an aftermarket car alarm actually do?

It detects selected events and provides supported audible, visual, remote, or connected responses. No vehicle becomes theft-proof.

Is an alarm useful with factory security?

It may add sensors, monitored areas, and alerts beyond factory key and entry logic. We review existing protection first.

Does a better remote add more sensor coverage?

No. Remotes change communication. Sensors, openings, siren behavior, and connected features are specified separately.

Will it alert my phone?

Eligible DroneMobile hardware, active service, supported events, cellular coverage, power, account access, and phone permissions are required. Alerts may be delayed or missed.

Can it be combined with IGLA or SPYNEX?

Supported vehicles can combine alarm detection with separate IGLA or SPYNEX driving authorization. Each has compatibility limits.

Can remote start and factory features still work?

They may, with compatible equipment and integration. Remote start is not automatically included. Tell us which factory features you want retained.

How much does car alarm installation cost?

Vehicle-specific installed quotes cover your vehicle, remote, detection, existing electronics, integration, labor, connected hardware, and service choices.

What should I do after an alarm alert?

Put safety first. Do not confront anyone or pursue the vehicle. Contact police or emergency services when appropriate and share available information.

Can it guarantee recovery or insurance savings?

No. Confirm insurance requirements or possible savings directly with your insurer.

Who provides support after installation?

Kickin’ Customs provides handoff and local support. Keep installation records; our Owner Support and Car Security Warranty pages explain guidance and coverage.
