A stripe you love on another car is a useful starting point. The same width and spacing may look very different on yours.
We consider the hood, roof, trunk or hatch, and the way the body lines change from front to rear. Vents, emblems, and spoilers can call for a break in the design or a different stopping point.
Choose a restrained factory-inspired look, traditional paired stripes, a narrow accent, or something more personal. We’ll agree on the layout before installation.

You might want a hood design, a side stripe, or another focused accent. Your original paint remains most of the finished look.
Continue over the upper body
Hood, roof, and trunk or hatch coverage can carry the design through the car. Glass roofs, antennas, and spoilers may interrupt it.
Discuss the extra details
Bumper and spoiler coverage can change the look and the cost. Curves and openings may need separate pieces or a planned seam.

Many straightforward jobs take about 1 to 2 business days after design and material approval. Old stripe removal, printed designs, and more detailed work can take longer.

Your quote includes the agreed layout, material, covered panels, preparation, installation, and pickup review. We confirm any trim or badge removal before the work begins.
Wider stripes, more colors, extra panels, difficult curves, specialty film, and custom artwork can change the price. Old stripe removal and paint repairs are separate unless listed.

Will stripes work on my paint?
Sound paint is the starting point.
Vinyl follows chips, dents, and scratches. It does not fix them. Peeling clear coat, rust, fresh paint, previous repairs, coatings, and old stripes need review before we book the work.
Tell us what has been done to the panels, even if the paint looks good today.
What about gaps and edges?
Panel gaps will still break the stripe. Vents, badges, tight curves, and bumpers can require separate pieces or visible seams.
We look at the whole car when planning the design. The aim is a balanced appearance on your vehicle, not a promise that every body detail shares the same center.

How do I keep my stripes looking good?
Wash with the finish in mind
Do not wash for seven days, and follow your pickup instructions. Use soft materials and film-safe products, remove contamination promptly, and keep pressure spray away from edges.
Watch the hood and roof
These surfaces get more direct sun and weather. They can age faster than vertical panels. Check the film regularly and ask about removal or replacement before it becomes brittle or badly cracked.
Call us if something changes
If an edge lifts or a section is damaged, let us inspect it. Qualifying work has a one-year workmanship warranty under the written terms. Manufacturer film coverage depends on the selected product.

Can you recreate a factory stripe?
We can review a factory-inspired or replacement design with suitable references and measurements. Film availability, the exact vehicle, and permission to reproduce the design matter. A single photo does not establish an exact match.
Can I add numbers, logos, or artwork?
Personal details can be considered after the artwork and permission to use it are reviewed. If the idea grows into a larger livery or original graphic design, explore custom printed cosmetic wraps.
Can old stripes be removed first?
Yes, subject to inspection. Older or cracked film and leftover adhesive can add work. Paint under the old stripes may look different from the exposed areas, and removal can affect weak or repaired paint.
How long should vinyl stripes last?
About 3 to 5 years is a planning range for many installations. Film, finish, sun, washing, storage, and winter use all affect it. Hoods and roofs may age sooner, so the range is not a guarantee for every stripe.
Will stripes protect the paint from stone chips?
Cosmetic vinyl is chosen for appearance. It is much thinner than paint protection film and should not be treated as dependable impact protection.
What if I want the whole hood in another color?
A partial wrap may be a better fit. It changes a broader area while using your existing paint as part of the design. You can also compare all cosmetic wrap options.
