A hot afternoon living room, bright home office, bathroom window and entry sidelight each ask something different of the glass. We consider when the problem occurs, when privacy matters and how much daylight and outward view you want to keep.
Shades or curtains may still serve changing needs, especially after dark. Start with the rooms that would benefit most.

Offices, conference rooms, storefronts, clinics and tenant spaces need comfort, visual separation and a consistent appearance while people continue using them. Displays, screen glare, facade standards and business operations can shape the plan.
We’ll discuss access, approvals, the windows involved and installation timing during your consultation.
Architectural illustrations show concepts, not completed Kickin’ Customs installations or verified film performance.
We check what type of windows you have, their coatings and condition, and how much sun they receive. These details help us choose a suitable film and plan safe access.
The right answer may be another film, more review, another system or no installation.

Share the property, the area involved and what you want the glass to do. Unknown glass or film details are fine at the start.
We review the glass, conditions and safe access. Photos may help; exact conditions or physical samples may require a site visit.
Compare suitable directions and appearance. The written proposal identifies the accepted film, work, price and project conditions.
Complete the approved work, review the installation and keep the care instructions, product record and applicable written warranty.
The film, glass, access and project conditions determine the work. We provide a project-specific written proposal once enough of those conditions are confirmed. There is no single price per window that fits every property.
Safe photos and approximate measurements help us get started. We may still need to check the glass and final dimensions before confirming installation and price.

Browse the answersArchitectural window film is a thin, adhesive-backed layer installed on existing windows, glass doors and other flat glass in homes and buildings. It adds benefits without replacing the glass. Depending on the film, it can help reduce heat and glare, filter UV, add privacy or decoration, help hold broken glass together, or provide a replaceable layer against scratches and graffiti.
Each project is quoted individually. The film, amount and type of glass, preparation and safe access shape the price. Design, security-system needs and scheduling may add work. Your written proposal explains what is included.
Selected solar films can reduce heat entering through suitable glass. How the room feels also depends on sunlight, shade, window area and the building’s heating, cooling and insulation.
UV filtering depends on the exact XPEL VISION film and its tested performance. It can reduce one cause of fading, but cannot prevent all fading or aging.
Not reliably when the room is brighter than outside. Reflective privacy depends on the lighting difference and can reverse after dark with indoor lights on.
Frost can blur direct views by day and night, but nearby shapes or shadows may still show with strong light behind them. We recommend checking a sample in the actual room.
No. Damaged, coated, textured, specialty or unidentified glass may need another film, further review or no installation. We check the windows before recommending a product.
