Start with what matters

What Would You Like to Improve on Your Toyota?

Toyota cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, hybrids, and off-road models may need protection for family, work, or adventure use, plus cabin comfort, easier maintenance, dashcams, GPS tracking, or security. The goal cards below provide practical starting points based on different ownership priorities.

Find your Toyota

Protection and Customization by Toyota Model

Toyota recommendations vary across compact commuters, hybrids, family SUVs, minivans, body-on-frame off-road models, pickups, electric vehicles, and performance cars. These starting points can be adjusted for body style, glass area, passenger or work use, trail exposure, wheel and brake packages, older enthusiast models, modifications, and individual protection or comfort goals.

XPEL paint protection film

XPEL Paint Protection Film for Toyota Vehicles

Paint protection film creates a physical barrier over painted and suitable clear-coated surfaces to help reduce damage from road debris, minor abrasions, insects, staining, and regular driving exposure.

Toyota cars, SUVs, trucks, off-road models, and GR performance vehicles have different exposure patterns. Front-end and mirror protection suits daily driving, while rockers, lower doors, wheel arches, bedsides, and rear quarters may be relevant for towing, trail use, wide tires, or low-slung performance bodywork.

Compare XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS, ULTIMATE FUSION, and STEALTH. Preserving a factory matte finish and converting gloss paint to satin require different coverage planning.

Fit & installation

We use modified patterns, bulk installation, or custom techniques where appropriate. Edges, badges, access, and the condition of the existing finish are reviewed with the vehicle.

Care & follow-up

Follow the wash restrictions and film care instructions provided at pickup. Return for the complimentary three-week inspection required for continued workmanship coverage.

Window tint

Ceramic Window Tint for Toyota Cars, Trucks, SUVs, and Minivans

Ceramic window tint can improve heat rejection and cabin comfort, reduce glare and UV exposure, and create a more balanced appearance.

Toyota cars, pickups, SUVs, minivans, off-road models, and GR vehicles have widely different cabin and glass layouts. Trucks, SUVs, and minivans may have dark rear privacy glass that can still use ceramic film for heat rejection, while pickup rear windows, sliding-door glass, panoramic roofs, and low performance-car cabins should be reviewed by model.

Select a shade below to compare visible light transmission (VLT) levels and find the balance of appearance, privacy, and visibility that fits your Toyota.

Visible light transmission describes how much light passes through. Lower numbers look darker. We use actual samples and check the glass-and-film combination before settling on a shade.

Care after installation

Keep the windows up for the instructed curing period and follow the cleaning guidance at pickup. Temporary haze or moisture can occur as the film dries.

Windshield protection film

Add a Replaceable Protective Layer to Your Toyota Windshield

Windshield protection film is installed on the exterior of the glass to help absorb impacts from ordinary road debris before they reach the factory windshield.

Toyota owners who use Land Cruiser, 4Runner, Tacoma, or similar vehicles for highway, work, gravel, or trail travel may benefit from windshield film. It can also help preserve original glass on commuters, minivans, and family SUVs. Availability depends on the exact windshield and its condition.

The film is replaceable, but it is also a wear item. Appearance and service life depend on mileage, road exposure, storage, maintenance, wiper use, and driving conditions.

Why Toyota Owners Choose Windshield Protection Film

We inspect the windshield, shape, existing damage, wiper access, and installation suitability. General categories start at $350 for qualifying short windshields and $550 for standard or larger glass.

Six-Month Restore Service

Mileage, road conditions, wiper use, storage, and care affect clarity and service life. Routine care is needed between visits. The complimentary six-month Restore application is explained on the service page.

Replaced When Worn

XPEL’s stated 12-month or 12,000-mile defect warranty is subject to its terms. Damage from road use and normal wear need to be assessed separately from a product defect.

Vinyl wraps

Personalize Your Toyota With Vinyl Wrap

Vinyl wrap gives Toyota owners a removable way to create a full color change, contrasting roof, hood or tailgate treatment, stripes, or selected graphics without committing to a permanent repaint. We will review the vehicle’s body style, current finish, factory decals, and existing film before finalizing coverage.

Toyota questions

Toyota Protection And Customization FAQs

Find answers to common questions about protecting, styling, and adding electronics to your Toyota, including pricing, compatibility, vehicle condition, installation, and scheduling.

What PPF coverage makes sense for a Toyota?

The right PPF coverage depends on the exact Toyota and how it is used. Front-End Defense protects the complete front end, while Apex Defense adds rocker panels, A-pillars, and the leading roof when expanded highway or lower-body coverage is appropriate. Daily front-end exposure, rockers, lower doors, wheel arches, truck bedsides, off-road panels, minivan loading areas, GR performance aero, existing film, accessories, and paint condition must be reviewed before expanded or full-body coverage is finalized.

How much does Toyota paint protection film cost?

Toyota Standard gloss PPF packages start at $1,595 for sedans/coupes or $1,795 for SUVs/trucks for Strike Zone coverage. Complete full-front protection starts at $2,295 for sedans/coupes or $2,495 for SUVs/trucks, Apex Defense starts at $3,195 for sedans/coupes or $3,495 for SUVs/trucks, and full-body PPF starts at $6,995 for sedans/coupes or $7,995 for SUVs/trucks. Final pricing depends on the model, trim, film, paint condition, existing film, and requested coverage.

How should ceramic tint be selected for a Toyota?

Tint should be selected after reviewing the exact Toyota glass configuration and the driver's heat, glare, privacy, and visibility goals. Ceramic film can improve heat rejection even where factory privacy glass already changes the appearance of rear glass. Pickup, SUV, and minivan glass, sliding-door and cargo areas, roof glass, windshield sensor housings, driver visibility, and factory privacy glass where equipped should be reviewed before the film and shade are selected.

Is windshield protection film useful for a work, towing, or off-road Toyota?

Windshield protection film can be worthwhile for a Toyota used for work, highway mileage, gravel roads, winter use, towing, or off-road travel. Fitment and the existing glass condition must be confirmed before installation. The exterior film is a replaceable wear item, so clarity, service life, maintenance, and eventual replacement depend on mileage, wiper use, storage, and road exposure.

How is remote-start compatibility checked across Toyota gasoline, hybrid, plug-in-hybrid, EV, manual-transmission, and commercial platforms?

Remote-start compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Toyota before a system is recommended. Model year, powertrain, transmission, factory equipment, connected services, and modifications can change the available functions. Manual transmissions require added safety review, while hybrid, plug-in-hybrid, electric, and commercial vehicles may use factory climate functions or require more restrictive platform review.

Can an aftermarket alarm detect tool or cargo access, wheel theft, towing, or tampering on a Toyota?

Yes, a compatible aftermarket alarm can add detection for tools, wheels, cargo, impact, glass breakage, jacking, towing, and tampering on a Toyota. Available sensors may include shock, tilt, glass-break, motion, and door or cargo triggers, but the exact combination depends on the vehicle. An alarm adds detection and alerts; it does not guarantee theft prevention.

Can GPS tracking support Toyota work vehicles, shared family vehicles, or fleet use?

GPS tracking can add location visibility, movement alerts, and useful vehicle information for a Toyota used for work, shared family transportation, commercial use, or fleet use. Available functions, cellular coverage, and update frequency depend on the hardware, service plan, signal conditions, and system configuration. Tracking does not prevent theft or guarantee recovery.

Can ceramic coating simplify maintenance for Toyota commuters, family vehicles, trucks, off-road models, and GR vehicles?

Yes, ceramic coating can make a Toyota used for commuting, family travel, work, off-road use, or GR performance ownership easier to wash and maintain. It improves water behavior, slickness, and resistance to ordinary environmental contamination, but it does not prevent chips or physical damage. Mud, road salt, brake dust, and work contamination still require regular cleaning.

How do accessories, factory decals, existing film, repairs, or prior paintwork affect Toyota installation planning?

Installation planning for a Toyota starts with reviewing accessories, factory decals, existing film, repairs, prior paintwork, off-road damage, cargo use, and specialty surfaces. Those factors can change film fitment, surface preparation, wiring routes, sensor access, and the time required. The final scope is confirmed only after the exact vehicle and existing equipment are inspected.

How long will the installation take?

Window tint may be completed during one appointment. Full-front PPF, coatings, wraps, full-body PPF, or combined packages may require multiple days. The expected schedule is provided after the vehicle and selected services are reviewed.
