Change the Color. Protect the Paint.
Choose a new color or finish with protective film, installed with care at our Raynham shop.
Color PPF combines an appearance change with a urethane protective film layer. The film becomes the visible color or finish while helping reduce everyday chips, light scratches and scuffs on covered exterior surfaces.

Clean, saturated colors with a traditional gloss appearance.

Metallic flake adds depth to a gloss finish.

Low-sheen finishes create a softer, more muted appearance.

Reflective or dimensional finishes create additional visual depth.

Effects change character with lighting and viewing angle.

Shades inspired by factory paint colors, with the exact appearance confirmed from a film sample.
Material-inspired looks and graphic patterns for selected panels or accents.
A physical sample helps you judge the finish beyond a screen. View it in sunlight, shade and indoor lighting, then compare it with the trim, wheels, glass and other visible details on your vehicle.
Before ordering, we confirm the exact film and availability.

XPEL is our preferred starting point. PURE PPF, STEK and selected 3M options may be considered when they offer the desired finish. You do not need to choose a manufacturer before contacting us.

We confirm the exact product, care and warranty for your installation. Each manufacturer has its own range of finishes.
Jambs, deep recesses, and hidden areas are reviewed separately when we plan the installation.
Vehicle size and design, selected film, preparation, coverage and finishing affect the quote. Tell us the result you want and we’ll confirm the details for your vehicle.
When film becomes the visible finish, panel planning and consistent transitions matter. We review the vehicle and your desired result before installation, then work through the details that bring the color change together.
We inspect the surface, existing film and paint history, then clean and decontaminate with preparation suited to the surface. Chips, rough repairs or failing paint may need attention first.
Vehicle-specific patterns, modified precuts and appropriate bulk methods help us plan panel boundaries and accessible wrapped edges. We remove emblems where applicable. Other disassembly is confirmed for your vehicle.
Kickin’ Customs is fully licensed and insured. Installation takes place in our climate-controlled, brightly lit Raynham shop. We check finish consistency and alignment panel by panel, review aftercare and plan the complimentary three-week follow-up.
Some original color, seams or edges can remain visible where body design limits access. We review these areas with you; an applied film is not identical to repainting.

These general PPF demonstrations show the protective-layer concept and surface features. Film construction, self-healing and water repellency vary by the Color PPF product selected.
This clear-PPF demonstration shows a protective layer taking exposure before the surface beneath it.

On films with a self-healing topcoat, warmth can make fine surface marks less visible. Cuts and damage through the film do not self-heal.

Hydrophobic behavior can make routine washing easier on films with this feature. It varies by exact product and does not make the finish water-spot-proof or maintenance-free.

| Option | Visible result | Primary purpose | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Color PPF | A new color or finish | Appearance change with protective film | Drivers who want color transformation and physical protection together |
| Vinyl Wrap | A broad choice of colors and textures | Styling and color changes | Style-focused projects where PPF-level protection is not the priority |
| Clear Gloss PPF | Original color remains visible through clear gloss film | Physical surface protection | Drivers who want to preserve their gloss appearance |
| XPEL STEALTH | Factory matte preserved or gloss changed to satin, with the underlying color visible | Protection with a low-sheen appearance | Factory-matte protection or gloss-to-satin projects |
Wait seven days before washing and allow approximately two to three weeks for settling. Use pH-neutral soap, clean wash media and maintenance products approved for the installed finish.
Remove bugs, bird droppings, sap and road contamination promptly. Keep pressure-washer nozzles at least three feet from film edges. Avoid aggressive polishing, abrasives and unapproved chemicals, especially on matte, satin or patterned finishes.
Self-healing and hydrophobic characteristics depend on the selected film. Neither replaces routine care.

Color PPF changes the visible color or finish while adding a urethane protective film layer over covered exterior surfaces. Vinyl is primarily a styling material. Choose based on the appearance and level of physical protection you want; the exact performance depends on the selected product.
Explore solid gloss, metallic gloss, matte or satin, specialty gloss, color-shift effects and OEM-inspired colors, plus carbon-fiber, forged-carbon, Damascus and camo patterns. Availability varies by manufacturer and product. OEM-inspired colors are not guaranteed exact paint matches.

Both are possible. A full exterior color change creates a consistent appearance across the planned exterior panels. Accents or a custom combination can add contrast to suitable roofs, hoods, trim, mirrors or selected areas. Coverage is optional when starting an inquiry.
It may remain visible in jambs, deep recesses, tight gaps, openings and hidden areas. Full exterior coverage does not automatically include every jamb, engine-bay surface, light, trim piece or hidden edge. We review panel construction and access, then confirm boundaries and accessible wrapped edges.
Not reliably. Film follows the surface underneath. Chips, dents, rough touch-up, previous repairs or failing clear coat can affect the result and may need attention before installation. Tell us about known paintwork so we can review preparation and removal considerations.
Color PPF is designed to be removable, with the original paint remaining beneath it. Professional removal is recommended. Repainted, repaired, poorly bonded or failing paint can carry additional risk, so damage-free removal cannot be promised for every surface.
No. Properties vary by exact product and finish. Some topcoats can soften fine surface marks with warmth, and some help water bead and release for easier cleaning. Cuts, punctures and damage through the film do not self-heal. Water repellency does not eliminate washing or prevent every stain or water spot.
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by exact product, including duration, registration, exclusions and care requirements. Kickin’ Customs workmanship coverage is separate and requires the complimentary three-week inspection. Replacement assistance has its own written eligibility terms. XPEL warranty information applies to the relevant XPEL product, not every brand.
