What does GPS tracking actually show me?

Depending on your tracker and plan: latest reported location, trip activity, geofences and movement or event alerts.

Which tracker should I choose?

X2 suits straightforward hardwired car GPS tracking. X2MAX adds limited backup power and security hardware. XT suits rechargeable asset tracking.

How much does GPS tracking hardware cost?

See the starting prices above. Active service is separate; complete packages are on Packages & Pricing. Lower Compustar add-on pricing applies only during the same installation.

What is Drone XT used for?

Suitable trailers, equipment, toolboxes, generators, boats and powersports. You manage charging, secure attachment and status checks.

Do I need a subscription? Does Basic include GPS?

GPS needs active DroneMobile service. Basic does not include GPS. Choose a tracking-enabled plan that fits your hardware.

Is the location always live and exact?

No. Reports can be delayed, approximate or unavailable because of power, signal or service interruptions. Check the report time.

Can one account manage several vehicles or assets?

Yes, for compatible devices. The authorized owner or business manages account access, billing and any required driver notice or consent.

Does GPS prevent vehicle theft?

It provides location and alerts, not immobilization or guaranteed recovery. Contact police during an active theft; do not pursue the vehicle.

Can I bring a tracker I already own?

We review compatible, functional X2/X2MAX equipment and its account status before accepting it. Customer-supplied hardware has no Kickin’ Customs product warranty.
