Start with what matters

What Would You Like to Improve on Your Nissan?

Nissan cars, SUVs, trucks, EVs, and performance models may need protection for commuting, work, or spirited driving, plus cabin comfort, easier maintenance, dashcams, GPS tracking, or security. The goal cards below provide practical starting points based on different ownership priorities.

Find your Nissan

Protection and Customization by Nissan Model

Nissan ownership ranges from compact commuter cars and family crossovers to body-on-frame SUVs, pickups, electric vehicles, and performance models. These practical starting points can be adjusted for glass area, passenger or work use, off-road exposure, wheel and brake hardware, older enthusiast vehicles, and individual protection or comfort goals.

XPEL paint protection film

XPEL Paint Protection Film for Nissan Vehicles

Paint protection film creates a physical barrier over painted and suitable clear-coated surfaces to help reduce damage from road debris, minor abrasions, insects, staining, and regular driving exposure.

Nissan cars, SUVs, trucks, EVs, and performance models require different coverage priorities. Daily vehicles commonly focus on the front end and lower doors, pickups may add rockers and bedsides, and Z or GT-R models can justify expanded protection around low front bodywork, side skirts, rear quarters, cooling openings, and aero.

Follow the wash restrictions and film care instructions provided at pickup. Return for the complimentary three-week inspection required for continued workmanship coverage.

Window tint

Ceramic Window Tint for Nissan Cars, Trucks, and SUVs

Ceramic window tint can improve heat rejection and cabin comfort, reduce glare and UV exposure, and add privacy based on the selected shade.

Nissan cars, pickups, SUVs, EVs, and performance models range from compact commuter cabins to crew cabs and three-row interiors. Trucks and SUVs may have dark rear privacy glass that can still use ceramic film for heat rejection, while pickup rear windows, Z and GT-R cabin glass, and panoramic or EV roof glass require model-specific review.

Select a shade below to compare visible light transmission (VLT) levels and find the balance of appearance, privacy, and visibility that fits your Nissan.

Choose VLT in person

Visible light transmission describes how much light passes through. Lower numbers look darker. We use actual samples and check the glass-and-film combination before settling on a shade.

Care after installation

Keep the windows up for the instructed curing period and follow the cleaning guidance at pickup. Temporary haze or moisture can occur as the film dries.

Windshield protection film

Add a Replaceable Protective Layer to Your Nissan Windshield

Windshield protection film is installed on the exterior of the glass to help absorb impacts from ordinary road debris before they reach the factory windshield.

Nissan owners who use pickups, PRO-4X models, full-size SUVs, or other vehicles for work, gravel, off-road, or touring use may benefit from windshield film. It can also help preserve original glass on high-mileage commuters and collector-oriented sports cars. Availability depends on the exact windshield and its condition.

The film is replaceable, but it is also a wear item. Appearance and service life depend on mileage, road exposure, storage, maintenance, wiper use, and driving conditions.

Why Nissan Owners Choose Windshield Protection Film

Installed on the Exterior

We inspect the windshield, shape, existing damage, wiper access, and installation suitability. General categories start at $350 for qualifying short windshields and $550 for standard or larger glass.

Six-Month Restore Service

Mileage, road conditions, wiper use, storage, and care affect clarity and service life. Routine care is needed between visits. The complimentary six-month Restore application is explained on the service page.

Replaced When Worn

XPEL’s stated 12-month or 12,000-mile defect warranty is subject to its terms. Damage from road use and normal wear need to be assessed separately from a product defect.

Vinyl wraps

Personalize Your Nissan With Vinyl Wrap

Vinyl wrap gives Nissan owners a removable way to create a full color change, contrasting roof, hood or tailgate treatment, stripes, or selected graphics without committing to a permanent repaint. We will review the vehicle’s body style, current finish, factory decals, and existing film before finalizing coverage.

Nissan questions

Nissan Protection And Customization FAQs

Find answers to common questions about protecting, styling, and adding electronics to your Nissan, including pricing, compatibility, vehicle condition, installation, and scheduling.

What PPF coverage makes sense for a Nissan?

The right PPF coverage depends on the exact Nissan and how it is used. Front-End Defense protects the complete front end, while Apex Defense adds rocker panels, A-pillars, and the leading roof when expanded highway or lower-body coverage is appropriate. Daily front-end exposure, lower doors, pickup rockers and bedsides, low Z or GT-R bodywork, cooling openings, side skirts, rear quarters, aero, existing film, modifications, and paint condition must be reviewed before expanded or full-body coverage is finalized.

How much does Nissan paint protection film cost?

Nissan Standard gloss PPF packages start at $1,595 for sedans/coupes or $1,795 for SUVs/trucks for Strike Zone coverage. Complete full-front protection starts at $2,295 for sedans/coupes or $2,495 for SUVs/trucks, Apex Defense starts at $3,195 for sedans/coupes or $3,495 for SUVs/trucks, and full-body PPF starts at $6,995 for sedans/coupes or $7,995 for SUVs/trucks. Final pricing depends on the model, trim, film, paint condition, existing film, and requested coverage.

How should ceramic tint be selected for a Nissan?

Tint should be selected after reviewing the exact Nissan glass configuration and the driver's heat, glare, privacy, and visibility goals. Ceramic film can improve heat rejection even where factory privacy glass already changes the appearance of rear glass. Crew-cab glass, SUV privacy glass where equipped, panoramic roof glass, low performance-car cabins, rear visibility, windshield sensor housings, and nighttime driving should be reviewed before the film and shade are selected.

Is windshield protection film useful for a Nissan truck, off-road model, Z, or GT-R?

Windshield protection film can be worthwhile for a Nissan used for pickup or off-road use, high highway mileage, performance touring, or original-glass preservation. Fitment and the existing glass condition must be confirmed before installation. The exterior film is a replaceable wear item, so clarity, service life, maintenance, and eventual replacement depend on mileage, wiper use, storage, and road exposure.

How is remote-start compatibility checked across Nissan gasoline, electric, manual-transmission, and commercial platforms?

Remote-start compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Nissan before a system is recommended. Model year, powertrain, transmission, factory equipment, connected services, and modifications can change the available functions. Manual transmissions require added safety review, while electric and commercial vehicles may rely on factory climate functions or require a more restrictive platform review.

Can IGLA, SPYNEX, or another compatible immobilizer be installed on a Nissan?

An aftermarket immobilizer may be available for a Nissan, but compatibility is not assumed. The exact model, model year, electronic platform, and supported system must be reviewed before recommending IGLA, SPYNEX, or another option. Authorization methods and daily-use functions depend on the selected system.

Can GPS tracking support a Nissan work truck, van, or business vehicle?

GPS tracking can add location visibility, movement alerts, and useful vehicle information for a Nissan used as a work truck or van, or for business or fleet use. Available functions, cellular coverage, and update frequency depend on the hardware, service plan, signal conditions, and system configuration. Tracking does not prevent theft or guarantee recovery.

Can ceramic coating simplify maintenance for Nissan trucks, performance cars, wheels, and winter-driven vehicles?

Yes, compatible paint, compatible PPF, suitable truck or performance wheels, and other approved surfaces on a Nissan can be coated with products matched to each surface. Ceramic coating improves slickness, water behavior, gloss on suitable finishes, and ease of cleaning, but it does not provide rock-chip protection. Winter road film, brake dust, and work exposure still require regular cleaning.

Do you work on pre-owned or recently produced Nissan performance vehicles with existing film, modifications, or prior repairs?

Yes, pre-owned, older, recently produced, modified, performance, truck, and electric Nissan vehicles can be evaluated for protection, appearance, and compatible electronics. We inspect paint condition, prior repairs, repainted panels, existing film or coating, contamination, glass damage, modifications, specialty materials, and electronic-platform compatibility as relevant. Some conditions may limit installation or require correction, but correction is not always possible.

How long will the installation take?

Window tint may be completed during one appointment. Full-front PPF, coatings, wraps, full-body PPF, or combined packages may require multiple days. The expected schedule is provided after the vehicle and selected services are reviewed.
