Tracking

Core GPS, supported alerts, limited geofences and points of interest, and supported one-minute breadcrumb reporting.

Tracking Plus

Expanded supported geofence and point-of-interest tools and 30-second breadcrumb reporting on eligible hardware.

Hardware limits still apply. XT does not support points of interest or every vehicle status/alert feature; unlimited tools are not universal. Reporting intervals describe supported plan behavior, not guaranteed timing. Tracking-only service does not enable vehicle controls.

Basic does not include GPS. It supports eligible controls and alerts. Premium adds GPS with limited geofences/points of interest. Premium Plus expands supported tools and adds one-minute breadcrumbing; Ultimate adds supported 30-second breadcrumbing and location-based alerts.

Compatible X2 or X2MAX hardware and an installed Compustar control/security platform are required for the controls you want. Buying a plan does not add Remote Start, locks, alarm sensors, or immobilization by itself.

Tracking a business fleet?

Small / similar fleet

We can often quote similar vehicles as a group.

Larger / mixed fleet

Different vehicles, trailers, equipment, and existing electronics may require different setups. Starting with representative examples can make sense before expanding.

Manufacturer subscription discount: DroneMobile lists 10% off eligible service for accounts with at least ten active vehicles. Its terms identify Tracking Only, Premium, Premium Plus, and Ultimate. Confirm account and plan eligibility. This is a manufacturer service discount, not a Kickin’ Customs hardware or labor discount.

Your account, renewal, and coverage.

Active service matters

The account owner handles billing, renewal, authorized users, and cancellation. Connected tracking can stop when service expires, even while the hardware remains installed. Prepaid service cancellation is governed by DroneMobile’s terms.

Hardware warranty is separate

The manufacturer covers eligible hardware defects under its terms. Tracking-only service does not qualify for the limited lifetime upgrade offered with eligible annual Control + Tracking plans. It is not a promise of location, uptime, alerts, or recovery.

Use tracking with clear permission.

Track only property you own or are lawfully authorized to monitor, with appropriate notice and required consent. We do not support covert tracking of partners, employees, customers, or other people.

For company vehicles and assets, provide clear written employee/driver notice. Obtain appropriate legal guidance for your employment and monitoring policies; requirements vary.

Keep control of your account.

You own the account, billing, recovery details, and authorized access. Use supported sharing and strong authentication. Remove access when it is no longer needed.

After approved setup and quality checks, Kickin’ Customs does not retain passwords, PINs, location history, or ongoing account access.

What does the one-year package include?

The listed tracker, standard installation for X2/X2MAX or configuration for XT, activation support, customer-owned account handoff, and one year of standard Tracking. Additional work and service renewal are separate.

Why do same-install Drone add-ons cost less?

The lower X2 and X2MAX add-on prices apply only during the same compatible Compustar installation, when preparation, wiring, programming, and testing can be combined. A separate installation appointment uses standard installed pricing, even if compatible Compustar equipment is already installed: Drone X2 from $395 installed or as low as $66/mo; Drone X2MAX $495 installed or as low as $83/mo.

Can I add X2MAX to my Remote Start package?

Yes. During the same compatible Compustar installation, Drone X2MAX is +$325 installed or as low as $54/mo. Drone X2 is also available for +$225 installed or as low as $38/mo. Adding either product later uses standard installed pricing. Active service is separate.

Does Basic include GPS?

No. Basic supports eligible vehicle control and alerts. Choose a GPS-enabled plan for location tracking. Hardware and vehicle compatibility still apply.

Does the fleet discount reduce installation prices?

No. DroneMobile’s eligible account discount applies to qualifying subscriptions. Hardware, installation, labor, and specialty work are quoted separately.

Can I use customer-supplied equipment?

Compatible, complete, functional X2/X2MAX hardware may be accepted after ownership and registration review. Starting labor is separate from parts, diagnosis, prior-work correction, removal, and specialty work. No Kickin’ Customs product warranty applies to customer-supplied hardware.
