Basic does not include GPS tracking.

Eligible hardware has a one-year manufacturer warranty. A limited lifetime upgrade requires specific hardware, purchaser, vehicle, and subscription conditions. Cellular service and Kickin’ Customs installation labor are separate from hardware coverage.

What is the difference between X2, X2MAX, and XT?
X2 is our standard vehicle tracker and Compustar add-on. X2MAX is the premium add-on or standalone choice, with limited backup power. XT is rechargeable asset tracking with no installation required.
How much does DroneMobile GPS hardware cost?
During the same compatible Compustar installation, Drone X2 is +$225 installed or as low as $38/mo, and Drone X2MAX is +$325 installed or as low as $54/mo. A separate or later appointment uses standard installed pricing, even with compatible Compustar already installed: X2 from $395 installed or as low as $66/mo; X2MAX $495 installed or as low as $83/mo. XT is $150, with no installation required. GPS service is separate. Compare service-inclusive packages.
Does Basic include GPS tracking?
No. Basic is not the GPS-tracking plan. GPS-connected features require an active GPS-enabled DroneMobile plan matched to the installed hardware.
Is the location always live?
No. The latest available position may be current, delayed, approximate, last reported, or unavailable. Check its report time.
Can I use it for a business vehicle or fleet?
Yes, for authorized use with required employee/driver notice and consent. Plan your fleet setup.
Does GPS tracking prevent vehicle theft?
No, and it cannot guarantee recovery. Contact police after a theft; do not pursue or confront anyone.
Can GPS work with Compustar or IGLA?
Yes, as separate layers. Compustar detects events, GPS provides location information, and IGLA adds driving authorization. We confirm the equipment together.
What happens if the subscription expires?
Connected tracking and other service-dependent features may stop until service is renewed.
