Advanced outside applicants generally need two years of active experience or equivalent demonstrated work and a substantial recent portfolio. We review years installing, volume, films or systems used, recent work and the weaknesses you want to improve. References may be requested.
Weekdays are standard, 9 AM–6 PM with a one-hour lunch, at Kickin’ Customs in Raynham. Approved applicants receive available dates and have five business days to accept and pay the required deposit before dates are released. Saturday may be approved at a 25% premium; Sunday is offered only in unusual circumstances. Airfare, hotel, rental car, transportation and other travel expenses are your responsibility. No off-site training is offered at launch.
A 50% nonrefundable deposit reserves standard training dates. ACH or wire is preferred. The remaining 50% is due seven days before training; no balance may remain unpaid on the first day. The four-stage Development Program has its own 25%-per-stage terms.
Training financing is not offered.
One reschedule is allowed with at least 14 days’ notice and the deposit transfers. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit; emergencies are reviewed at our discretion. If Kickin’ Customs cancels, choose a full refund or a 100% transfer. Seat transfers need prior approval, and the replacement trainee must complete the application and agreements.
A signed training agreement and waiver, closed-toe shoes, suitable shop clothing, required PPE and compliance with instructor directions are required. Full attendance is needed for a Certificate of Attendance. Lateness does not extend or repeat training; making up missed portions may cost extra. Normal mistakes and material waste are part of learning. Reckless, intentional or negligent damage may be charged. Intoxication, serious unsafe conduct, harassment, threats, deliberate property damage or repeated refusal to follow instructions can result in removal without a refund.
No photography, video, livestreaming or recording of demonstrations or materials without specific permission. You may use the techniques in your business and train your own employees. Kickin’ Customs branded manuals, checklists, templates, videos and other materials may not be reproduced, resold, redistributed or republished. Internal SOP libraries, pricing systems, employee materials and proprietary source files are not supplied. Do not present your own training as provided, certified, endorsed or authorized by Kickin’ Customs.
