Start with what matters

What Would You Like to Improve on Your Hyundai?

Hyundai sedans, crossovers, N models, hybrids, and EVs can have different needs for road protection, heat rejection, easier maintenance, dashcam documentation, and compatible security. The goal cards below provide practical starting points based on different ownership priorities.

Find your Hyundai

Protection and Customization by Hyundai Model

Hyundai models cover compact commuters, family SUVs, performance cars, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and dedicated electric vehicles. These starting points can be adjusted for body style, glass area, wheel and brake hardware, passenger use, road environment, older N models, and individual protection or comfort goals.

XPEL paint protection film

XPEL Paint Protection Film for Hyundai Vehicles

Paint protection film creates a physical barrier over painted and suitable clear-coated surfaces to help reduce damage from road debris, minor abrasions, insects, staining, and regular driving exposure.

Hyundai sedans, crossovers, EVs, and performance models commonly expose the front bumper, hood, mirrors, lower doors, and rockers during daily use. N models and low-slung electric vehicles may benefit from expanded lower-body and aero coverage, while larger family vehicles can be planned around highway mileage and long-term ownership.

Fit & installation

We use modified patterns, bulk installation, or custom techniques where appropriate. Edges, badges, access, and the condition of the existing finish are reviewed with the vehicle.

Care & follow-up

Follow the wash restrictions and film care instructions provided at pickup. Return for the complimentary three-week inspection required for continued workmanship coverage.

Window tint

Ceramic Window Tint for Hyundai Cars, SUVs, and EVs

Ceramic window tint can improve heat rejection and cabin comfort, reduce glare and UV exposure, and create a more balanced appearance across the vehicle.

Hyundai sedans, family SUVs, performance cars, and electric vehicles range from conventional cabins to expansive windshield and roof glass. SUVs may have dark rear privacy glass that can still use compatible ceramic film for heat rejection, while panoramic and EV roof glass should be reviewed separately based on the exact construction and factory treatment.

Dark rear glass changes appearance, but the color alone does not tell you its heat performance. Ceramic film can be added to suitable glass after reviewing the combined shade.

Visible light transmission describes how much light passes through. Lower numbers look darker. We use actual samples and check the glass-and-film combination before settling on a shade.

Keep the windows up for the instructed curing period and follow the cleaning guidance at pickup. Temporary haze or moisture can occur as the film dries.

Windshield protection film

Add a Replaceable Protective Layer to Your Hyundai Windshield

Windshield protection film is installed on the exterior of the glass to help absorb impacts from ordinary road debris before they reach the factory windshield.

Frequent commuting, family travel, and road trips can make windshield film useful for Hyundai owners who want a replaceable exterior layer against ordinary road debris. It can also help preserve original glass through year-round use. Availability depends on the exact windshield and its condition.

The film is replaceable, but it is also a wear item. Appearance and service life depend on mileage, road exposure, storage, maintenance, wiper use, and driving conditions.

Replaced When Worn

XPEL’s stated 12-month or 12,000-mile defect warranty is subject to its terms. Damage from road use and normal wear need to be assessed separately from a product defect.

Hyundai questions

Hyundai Protection And Customization FAQs

Find answers to common questions about protecting, styling, and adding electronics to your Hyundai, including pricing, compatibility, vehicle condition, installation, and scheduling.

What PPF coverage makes sense for a Hyundai?

The right PPF coverage depends on the exact Hyundai and how it is used. Front-End Defense protects the complete front end, while Apex Defense adds rocker panels, A-pillars, and the leading roof when expanded highway or lower-body coverage is appropriate. Daily mileage, family use, front bumpers, hoods, lower doors, rockers, N-model aero, wider wheels, low EV bodywork, existing film, and paint condition must be reviewed before expanded or full-body coverage is finalized.

How much does Hyundai paint protection film cost?

Hyundai Standard gloss PPF packages start at $1,595 for sedans/coupes or $1,795 for SUVs/trucks for Strike Zone coverage. Complete full-front protection starts at $2,295 for sedans/coupes or $2,495 for SUVs/trucks, Apex Defense starts at $3,195 for sedans/coupes or $3,495 for SUVs/trucks, and full-body PPF starts at $6,995 for sedans/coupes or $7,995 for SUVs/trucks. Final pricing depends on the model, trim, film, paint condition, existing film, and requested coverage.

How should ceramic tint be selected for a Hyundai?

Tint should be selected after reviewing the exact Hyundai glass configuration and the driver's heat, glare, privacy, and visibility goals. Ceramic film can improve heat rejection even where factory privacy glass already changes the appearance of rear glass. Large family cabins, panoramic or fixed roof glass, EV glass areas, windshield sensor housings, and factory privacy glass where equipped should be reviewed before the film and shade are selected.

Can ceramic coating simplify winter care for a Hyundai and protect suitable performance wheels or interior surfaces?

Yes, compatible paint, compatible PPF, suitable performance wheels, and interior surfaces on a Hyundai can be coated with products matched to each surface. Ceramic coating improves slickness, water behavior, gloss on suitable finishes, and ease of cleaning, but it does not provide rock-chip protection. Winter road film, brake dust, and high-use interiors still require regular cleaning with surface-appropriate methods.

How is remote-start compatibility checked across Hyundai gasoline, hybrid, plug-in-hybrid, and electric platforms?

Remote-start compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Hyundai before a system is recommended. Model year, powertrain, transmission, factory equipment, connected services, and modifications can change the available functions. Hybrid, plug-in-hybrid, and electric vehicles may use factory climate functions or have more limited aftermarket options.

Can an aftermarket alarm add useful detection for a daily-driven or performance Hyundai?

Yes, a compatible aftermarket alarm can add detection for impact, glass breakage, intrusion, jacking, towing, and tampering on a Hyundai. Available sensors may include shock, tilt, glass-break, motion, and door or cargo triggers, but the exact combination depends on the vehicle. An alarm adds detection and alerts; it does not guarantee theft prevention.

Is dashcam parking mode appropriate for a Hyundai, and how are battery and power-management limits reviewed?

Dashcam parking mode may be available for a Hyundai, but it depends on the exact vehicle, camera, battery condition, power-management settings, and installation path. A hardwired system can route most wiring behind trim and monitor selected events while parked. Recording duration and event capture are not guaranteed.

Is wheel and caliper coating worthwhile on a Hyundai N model?

Yes, wheel and caliper coating can be useful on a Hyundai N model because properly coated surfaces release brake dust and road grime more easily. The treatment does not prevent chips, curb damage, or heat-related wear, and routine cleaning is still required. Wheel finish, caliper material, condition, and prior products must be reviewed before application.

Do you work on pre-owned Hyundai vehicles with existing film, repainting, or prior repairs?

Yes, pre-owned, older, recently produced, N, hybrid, electric, and family Hyundai vehicles can be evaluated for protection, appearance, and compatible electronics. We inspect paint condition, prior repairs, repainted panels, existing film or coating, contamination, glass damage, modifications, specialty materials, and electronic-platform compatibility as relevant. Some conditions may limit installation or require correction, but correction is not always possible.

How long will the installation take?

Window tint may be completed during one appointment. Full-front PPF, coatings, wraps, full-body PPF, or combined packages may require multiple days. The expected schedule is provided after the vehicle and selected services are reviewed.
