A better website experience for more people

Accessibility at Kickin’ Customs

We want our website to work for people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice input, zoom, captions and other assistive technologies. If something blocks you, tell us what you need help with.

Our accessibility commitment

An ongoing target, with a practical help path.

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a technical reference and ongoing target. This is not a certification or a claim that every page, file, embedded tool or third-party service is free of barriers.

Customers should be able to research services, compare options, understand prices and warranties, view our work, request a quote, schedule service and use owner resources without unnecessary digital barriers.

When we identify a barrier, our goal is to correct the page or component where practical. When possible, we will help you get the information or complete the task another way while the issue is reviewed.

Building and maintaining the site

What we work to support.

Accessibility considerations
AreaOur direction
Keyboard useNavigation, menus, links, buttons, forms and interactive controls should work without a mouse.
Visible focusYou should be able to see which control has keyboard focus.
HeadingsMeaningful headings should follow a logical order.
Image alternativesMeaningful images should have useful alt text; decorative images should not add screen-reader noise.
ContrastText and controls should remain readable and should not depend on color alone.
Zoom and reflowCore content should stay readable when enlarged, without unnecessary horizontal scrolling.
FormsFields should have labels, instructions, clear errors and accurate confirmation states.
Captions and transcriptsInstructional media should include captions and equivalent text where needed.
MotionImportant content should not depend on flashing, autoplay audio or motion that cannot be paused.
Touch targetsControls should have enough size and spacing to reduce accidental activation.

These describe the practices we work toward. They are not a statement that every historical page has passed a formal conformance audit.

Forms, media & documents

Important information should have another way in.

Forms and business tasks

Quote, contact, scheduling, financing, warranty and support forms should provide labels, instructions, useful validation and visible focus. If an embedded tool prevents you from completing a task, call 617-431-6858 during business hours.

Tell us what you are trying to do. We can help identify a practical way to continue.

Images, video and documents

Important prices, coverage, product differences, warnings and instructions should remain available as text, not only in an image, carousel or video. Instructional media should have captions and a transcript or equivalent text when needed.

Some older files, manufacturer documents and outside resources may not meet the same standard as current pages. Ask us for help accessing that information.

Third-party tools

Some parts of the site come from other providers.

Forms, scheduling, financing, maps, reviews and videos may use third-party services. We do not control every part of those interfaces or their updates, but we still want to know when they create a barrier here.

Tell us the page and the problem. We will review whether the embed, link, instructions, fallback or alternate process can be improved. You can read this statement and use the phone link without accepting optional cookies.

Known limitations & ongoing work

Accessibility is reviewed as the website changes.

This extensive site contains older content, current service pages, images, videos, documents and embedded tools. We may not have identified every issue. A product, platform, form, media or browser change can also introduce a barrier.

We prioritize issues that prevent a visitor from understanding information or completing an important action. Real user reports can identify problems that automated checks miss. Automated results alone do not establish accessibility conformance.

Alternate access

If the website is blocking you, contact us.

Depending on what you need, we may be able to explain information by phone, review it with you at the shop or help you complete the same business task another way. We will review the report and look for a reasonable alternate path when possible.
