Start with what matters

What Would You Like to Improve on Your Ford?

Ford cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, and performance models may need road or work-use protection, better cabin comfort, easier maintenance, remote-start convenience, dashcams, GPS tracking, or security. The goal cards below provide practical starting points based on different ownership priorities.

Find your Ford

Protection and Customization by Ford Model

Ford recommendations differ across compact crossovers, family SUVs, performance cars, pickups, off-road models, electric vehicles, and commercial vans. These starting points can be adjusted for towing, trail use, work mileage, bed and rocker exposure, glass area, body style, modifications, and individual protection or comfort goals.

XPEL paint protection film

XPEL Paint Protection Film for Ford Vehicles

Paint protection film creates a physical barrier over painted and suitable clear-coated surfaces to help reduce damage from road debris, minor abrasions, insects, staining, and regular driving exposure.

Ford cars, SUVs, pickups, vans, and performance models require different coverage. Large truck front ends, fenders, rockers, lower doors, and bedsides may need protection for work or off-road use, while Mustang and Ford GT models place more emphasis on low front bodywork, aero, side intakes, and rear-quarter exposure.

Fit & installation

We use modified patterns, bulk installation, or custom techniques where appropriate. Edges, badges, access, and the condition of the existing finish are reviewed with the vehicle.

Follow the wash restrictions and film care instructions provided at pickup. Return for the complimentary three-week inspection required for continued workmanship coverage.

Window tint

Ceramic Window Tint for Ford Cars, Trucks, and SUVs

Ceramic window tint can improve heat rejection and cabin comfort, reduce glare and UV exposure, and create a more balanced appearance across the vehicle.

Ford cars, pickups, SUVs, vans, and electric vehicles span compact cabins, crew cabs, three-row interiors, and commercial spaces. Trucks, SUVs, and vans may have dark rear privacy glass, which can still use suitable ceramic film for heat rejection; pickup rear windows, large cargo glass, and panoramic roofs should be reviewed around the exact model.

Select a shade below to compare visible light transmission (VLT) levels and find the balance of appearance, privacy, and visibility that fits your Ford.

Visible light transmission describes how much light passes through. Lower numbers look darker. We use actual samples and check the glass-and-film combination before settling on a shade.

Keep the windows up for the instructed curing period and follow the cleaning guidance at pickup. Temporary haze or moisture can occur as the film dries.

Windshield protection film

Add a Replaceable Protective Layer to Your Ford Windshield

Windshield protection film is installed on the exterior of the glass to help absorb impacts from ordinary road debris before they reach the factory windshield.

Ford owners who drive Broncos, pickups, off-road models, or commercial vans through regular highway, gravel, work, or trail exposure may benefit from windshield film. It provides a replaceable exterior layer against ordinary road debris. Availability depends on the exact windshield and its condition.

The film is replaceable, but it is also a wear item. Appearance and service life depend on mileage, road exposure, storage, maintenance, wiper use, and driving conditions.

Why Ford Owners Choose Windshield Protection Film

Installed on the Exterior

We inspect the windshield, shape, existing damage, wiper access, and installation suitability. General categories start at $350 for qualifying short windshields and $550 for standard or larger glass.

Six-Month Restore Service

Mileage, road conditions, wiper use, storage, and care affect clarity and service life. Routine care is needed between visits. The complimentary six-month Restore application is explained on the service page.

Replaced When Worn

XPEL’s stated 12-month or 12,000-mile defect warranty is subject to its terms. Damage from road use and normal wear need to be assessed separately from a product defect.

Vinyl wraps

Personalize Your Ford With Vinyl Wrap

Vinyl wrap gives Ford owners a removable way to create a full color change, contrasting roof, hood or tailgate treatment, stripes, or selected graphics without committing to a permanent repaint. We will review the vehicle’s finish, body style, accessories, and existing graphics before finalizing coverage.

Ford questions

Ford Protection And Customization FAQs

Find answers to common questions about protecting, styling, and adding electronics to your Ford, including pricing, compatibility, vehicle condition, installation, and scheduling.

What PPF coverage makes sense for a Ford?

The right PPF coverage depends on the exact Ford and how it is used. Front-End Defense protects the complete front end, while Apex Defense adds rocker panels, A-pillars, and the leading roof when expanded highway or lower-body coverage is appropriate. Body style, large truck front ends, fenders, rockers, lower doors, bedsides, Bronco trail exposure, Mustang aero, Ford GT carbon-fiber construction, existing film, and paint condition must be reviewed before expanded or full-body coverage is finalized.

How much does Ford paint protection film cost?

Ford Standard gloss PPF packages start at $1,595 for sedans/coupes or $1,795 for SUVs/trucks for Strike Zone coverage. Complete full-front protection starts at $2,295 for sedans/coupes or $2,495 for SUVs/trucks, Apex Defense starts at $3,195 for sedans/coupes or $3,495 for SUVs/trucks, and full-body PPF starts at $6,995 for sedans/coupes or $7,995 for SUVs/trucks. Final pricing depends on the model, trim, film, paint condition, existing film, and requested coverage.

How should ceramic tint be selected for a Ford?

Tint should be selected after reviewing the exact Ford glass configuration and the driver's heat, glare, privacy, and visibility goals. Ceramic film can improve heat rejection even where factory privacy glass already changes the appearance of rear glass. Crew-cab and commercial-van glass, cargo-area glass, pickup rear windows, panoramic roofs, large sensor housings, and factory privacy glass where equipped should be reviewed before the film and shade are selected.

Is windshield protection film useful for an off-road, towing, or commercial Ford?

Windshield protection film can be worthwhile for a Ford used for off-road travel, work, towing, commercial mileage, highway use, or upright-glass exposure. Fitment and the existing glass condition must be confirmed before installation. The exterior film is a replaceable wear item, so clarity, service life, maintenance, and eventual replacement depend on mileage, wiper use, storage, and road exposure.

How is remote-start compatibility checked across Ford gasoline, diesel, hybrid, EV, manual-transmission, and upfitted vehicles?

Remote-start compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Ford before a system is recommended. Model year, powertrain, transmission, factory equipment, connected services, and modifications can change the available functions. Diesel, hybrid, electric, manual-transmission, commercial, and upfitted vehicles may require added safety, platform, or factory-function review.

Can an aftermarket alarm detect tool or cargo access, wheel theft, towing, or tampering on a Ford?

Yes, a compatible aftermarket alarm can add detection for tools, wheels, cargo, impact, glass breakage, jacking, towing, and tampering on a Ford. Available sensors may include shock, tilt, glass-break, motion, and door or cargo triggers, but the exact combination depends on the vehicle. An alarm adds detection and alerts; it does not guarantee theft prevention.

What dashcam setup makes sense for a Ford work truck, van, or fleet vehicle?

A front-and-rear dashcam is usually the stronger starting point for a Ford used for work, commercial, towing, and fleet driving, because incidents can occur ahead of or behind the vehicle. Parking mode may add documentation while the vehicle is off when the camera, battery condition, power-management settings, and vehicle support it. Coverage, duration, and event capture depend on the final system and installation.

Can GPS tracking support Ford work vehicles, commercial vans, or fleet use?

GPS tracking can add location visibility, movement alerts, and useful vehicle information for a Ford used for work, commercial, or fleet use. Available functions, cellular coverage, and update frequency depend on the hardware, service plan, signal conditions, and system configuration. Tracking does not prevent theft or guarantee recovery.

How do accessories, upfits, existing graphics, repairs, or existing film affect Ford installation planning?

Installation planning for a Ford starts with reviewing accessories, off-road equipment, upfits, existing graphics, repairs, prior paintwork, existing film, sensors, cargo use, and requested fleet functions. Those factors can change film fitment, surface preparation, wiring routes, sensor access, and the time required. The final scope is confirmed only after the exact vehicle and existing equipment are inspected.

How long will the installation take?

Window tint may be completed during one appointment. Full-front PPF, coatings, wraps, full-body PPF, or combined packages may require multiple days. The expected schedule is provided after the vehicle and selected services are reviewed.
