Marine owner support from Raynham

Start with What You Have Noticed

We help Massachusetts and Rhode Island owners identify the installed product and the applicable next step. You can contact us before you know the product version, installation date or cause. A question does not approve coverage or require you to diagnose a defect.

Separate products, separate terms

Which Product Is Involved?

Warranty information reference date: August 28, 2026. Each product has its own coverage conditions. For an existing installation, the warranty issued for that product and installation determines the applicable terms.

You do not need to diagnose it

Tell Us What You Are Seeing

Describe the symptom and where it appears in the support form. If helpful, choose an optional starting topic below. A selection does not assign fault, determine eligibility or promise a remedy.

What happens next

A Clear Review Process

  1. Tell Us What You Notice

Describe lifting, haze, discoloration, an edge concern or other symptoms, where they appear and when you first noticed them. Unknown details are welcome.

  2. Share Available Information

Use the approved private follow-up process for relevant installation records and optional photographs. The initial request is not a formal claim submission or photo upload.

  3. Arrange the Appropriate Review

An inspection or manufacturer review may be needed to understand the product, installation and underlying surface. Observation alone does not decide coverage.

  4. Confirm the Decision & Any Work

Receive the applicable decision and any proposed remedy. Manufacturer-covered, workmanship, customer-paid, insurance or goodwill work requires the relevant authorization before service.

Keep the installation record

Use the Terms That Apply to Your Product

Useful records include the invoice, installation date and installer, product/version and covered areas, issued warranty and registration where applicable, care history, incidents and prior repairs. Missing information does not automatically approve or void a claim.

Your Issued Warranty

Retain the document that applied when the work was performed. A current website summary does not replace historical issued terms. Ask us to help identify missing product or installer information.

Official Product Information

The manufacturer’s warranty-information page is a reference destination, not a claim approval or a substitute for your issued documents.

Photographs and private information

If requested, provide ordinary-light wide, medium and close views that show the affected location and useful fixed landmarks. Do not wet, polish, filter, mark, scrape or lift the product to make a photograph. Do not include exact vessel location, access codes, registration or private navigation data in this public-facing planner.

Photographs are optional for first contact. Our team can arrange a private way to receive appropriate records; preparing notes here attaches no files.

Understanding the limits

Coverage, Remedies and Changes

Safety, care and preserving the condition

Address immediate safety or visibility issues first and stop unsafe use. Unless safety requires immediate action, contact the installer before removing, altering or repairing the product. Preserving evidence never takes priority over safety.

Follow the applicable care instructions. Record significant exposure, cleaning changes, contact, incidents and repairs. Do not assume a loss of water behavior, a light mark, wear or damage has the same cause or coverage.

Product, workmanship and underlying-vessel issues

Manufacturing concerns, installation workmanship, normal wear, external damage, care, paint or gelcoat, glazing and seals, and electronics are reviewed separately. A selected topic does not classify a claim or decide responsibility.

A qualified repair or inspection of an underlying surface, window, seal or component may be needed. Screen film does not automatically cover electronics, data, calibration, software, navigation accuracy or the display itself.

Remedies and costs that require confirmation

The applicable terms determine eligibility, exclusions, remedy, any limits and who authorizes work. An inquiry does not promise a refund, full-vessel replacement, free labor or removal, a restarted warranty, exact matching or a particular turnaround.

Hauling, travel, storage, downtime, access, outside repair and other associated costs are not automatically covered. Confirm any responsibilities and charges before scheduling or authorizing work.

Removal, repair and replacement

Record the condition before authorized removal where practical and safe. Follow any instructions for samples, labels, retained material or shipping when requested. Removal may affect aged or weakened paint, gelcoat, coatings, glazing or other underlying materials.

Replacement does not guarantee an exact match to adjacent aged material, damage-free removal or a new full warranty period. Confirm the written remedy and any separate repair authorization.

Sale, transfer and changes in use

A sale, transfer, charter or commercial use, change of region, storage or exposure, repair, repaint, new film or coating, or replacement glazing or electronics may affect the applicable review. Do not assume either continued eligibility or automatic cancellation.

Follow the actual transfer, registration and maintenance requirements in the issued terms. There is no universal inspection interval, transfer rule, payout limit or coverage for every surface. A warranty term is not a prediction of useful life, appearance, optics or water behavior.

Common Warranty Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there one XPEL marine warranty?

No. Each product follows its own written warranty, eligibility, exclusions, maintenance, and remedy. The exact issued document controls.

How long is the Marine Protection Film warranty?

XPEL Marine Protection Film has a three-year limited warranty summary for qualifying above-waterline installations. Confirm the exact product, surface, installation, registration, care and exclusions in the warranty issued for your installation.

Does Marine Window Film have a warranty?

XPEL Marine Window Film has a limited 10-year public warranty summary against listed film defects. Confirm the exact marine film, glazing material, installation position, owner, exclusions and warranty issued for your installation.

How long is the marine ceramic coating warranty?

Ask us to confirm the warranty term and conditions for your exact coating and treated surface. The installed product, installation date, registration, maintenance requirements and applicable issued warranty determine the coverage.

Is navigation-screen protection covered?

Coverage depends on the exact protection film, display, installation and applicable written warranty. Confirm the care requirements, any electronics-related exclusions and any separate written screen-protection coverage.

Does the warranty cover dock rash or impact damage?

No. Dock rash and impact damage are accidental damage and are not covered by the product warranty. Contact us to review the affected area and discuss replacement.

Does self-healing mean scratches are warranted?

No. Self-healing describes recovery from some light surface marks under suitable conditions. It does not repair cuts, gouges, tears, punctures, worn film, edge damage, or underlying surface damage.

Is workmanship the same as the XPEL product warranty?

No. Product manufacturing defects and installation workmanship are separate review paths. Contact Kickin' Customs promptly so the concern can be classified correctly.

Do I need registration and maintenance records?

They may be required or materially helpful. Preserve the invoice, installation record, registration confirmation, care handoff, maintenance history, photographs, and incident records.

Can I remove or repair the film before a claim review?

Do not do so unless safety requires immediate action or written guidance authorizes it. Removal or repair can change the evidence and the underlying surface.

Who decides whether a claim is approved?

The controlling written warranty and authorized decision-maker govern the claim. Kickin' Customs can document, inspect, route, and complete authorized work within the written project plan.

Does warranty work include hauling, storage, travel, repair, or downtime?

Not automatically. The written approval must identify included parts, labor, access, location, other costs, responsibilities, and exclusions.

What should I send to start a review?

Start with the symptom and where it appears. Vessel, product, installer and date details are helpful when known, but photographs and a complete warranty file are not required for first contact. Describe unknown details honestly and arrange a private follow-up for relevant care, incident and installation records.
