Porsche Paint Protection, Window Tint and Ceramic Coatings
Protect your Porsche’s low front bodywork, finish, wheels, and cabin for road, touring, or track use. PPF, ceramic window tint, ceramic coatings, wheel protection, dashcams, and discreet vehicle security help preserve its appearance, improve comfort, and document the drive.
Kickin’ Customs serves Porsche owners throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island from our Raynham installation facility.
Low front bodywork, wide rear quarters, performance driving, large wheels and calipers, and premium interiors make paint protection, easier care, cabin comfort, personalization, dashcams, and security relevant Porsche goals. The goal cards below provide practical starting points based on different ownership priorities.
Porsche recommendations vary with low front ends, wide rear quarters, rear- or mid-engine layouts, track aero, soft-top or Targa openings, electric platforms, family SUV use, wheel and brake packages, and collector value. These starting points should be refined for the exact variant, finish, existing film, driving environment, and ownership plans.

Paint protection film creates a physical barrier over painted and suitable clear-coated surfaces to help reduce damage from road debris, minor abrasions, insects, staining, and regular driving exposure.
Porsche sports cars, sedans, and SUVs commonly expose low front bumpers, broad fenders, rockers, side intakes, rear quarters, and performance aero. Expanded coverage may suit track use, widebody models, and long-term ownership, while matte finishes, exposed carbon fiber, existing film, repainted panels, and sensitive lighting surfaces should be reviewed before installation.

Compare XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS, ULTIMATE FUSION, and STEALTH. Preserving a factory matte finish and converting gloss paint to satin require different coverage planning.
Fit & installation
We use modified patterns, bulk installation, or custom techniques where appropriate. Edges, badges, access, and the condition of the existing finish are reviewed with the vehicle.
Care & follow-up
Follow the wash restrictions and film care instructions provided at pickup. Return for the complimentary three-week inspection required for continued workmanship coverage.
Provide the Porsche model, road or track use, areas of concern, and any existing film, repairs, or specialty surfaces. We will recommend coverage around its bodywork, condition, and ownership goals.
Ceramic window tint can improve cabin comfort through heat rejection, reduce glare and UV exposure, and support a more consistent exterior appearance.
Porsche sports cars, sedans, SUVs, and electric models use very different coupe, convertible, rear-hatch, and roof-glass layouts. Macan and Cayenne privacy glass can still receive suitable ceramic film for heat rejection, while 911 and 718 cabins, Taycan roof glass, and large windshield sensor areas should be reviewed separately.

Factory privacy glass
Dark rear glass changes appearance, but the color alone does not tell you its heat performance. Ceramic film can be added to suitable glass after reviewing the combined shade.
Choose VLT in person
Visible light transmission describes how much light passes through. Lower numbers look darker. We use actual samples and check the glass-and-film combination before settling on a shade.
Care after installation
Keep the windows up for the instructed curing period and follow the cleaning guidance at pickup. Temporary haze or moisture can occur as the film dries.
Tell us the Porsche model and body configuration, the glass you want addressed, and your priorities for heat rejection, privacy, glare, visibility, and appearance. We will recommend the appropriate XPEL film, shade, and coverage.
Ceramic coating can make your Porsche easier to clean, improve water repellency, and enhance gloss on appropriate finishes. It supports regular driving, performance use, EV ownership, seasonal storage, and collector care, with options for paint, PPF, wheels, glass, and interiors.

Add a Replaceable Protective Layer to Your Porsche Windshield
Windshield protection film is installed on the exterior of the glass to help absorb impacts from ordinary road debris before they reach the factory windshield.
Porsche owners who tour, drive seasonally, or want to preserve original glass may benefit from windshield film as a replaceable exterior layer against ordinary road debris. This can be useful for sports cars, collector vehicles, electric grand tourers, and SUVs. Availability depends on the exact windshield and its condition.
The film is replaceable, but it is also a wear item. Appearance and service life depend on mileage, road exposure, storage, maintenance, wiper use, and driving conditions.
Why Porsche Owners Choose Windshield Protection Film
Installed on the Exterior
We inspect the windshield, shape, existing damage, wiper access, and installation suitability. General categories start at $350 for qualifying short windshields and $550 for standard or larger glass.
Six-Month Restore Service
Mileage, road conditions, wiper use, storage, and care affect clarity and service life. Routine care is needed between visits. The complimentary six-month Restore application is explained on the service page.
Replaced When Worn
XPEL’s stated 12-month or 12,000-mile defect warranty is subject to its terms. Damage from road use and normal wear need to be assessed separately from a product defect.
Tell us which Porsche you drive, its touring or seasonal use, and whether the windshield has existing damage. We will verify availability, pricing, maintenance, and what to expect before installation.
Vinyl wrap gives Porsche owners a removable alternative to permanent repainting through full color changes, stripe packages, roof treatments, and selected rocker or aero accents. What PPF coverage makes sense for a Porsche?
The right PPF coverage depends on the exact Porsche and how it is used. Front-End Defense protects the complete front end, while Apex Defense adds rocker panels, A-pillars, and the leading roof when expanded highway or lower-body coverage is appropriate. Low front bumpers, broad fenders, rockers, side intakes, rear quarters, widebody panels, performance aero, matte finishes, exposed carbon fiber, existing film, repainted panels, and road or track use must be reviewed before expanded or full-body coverage is finalized.
How much does Porsche paint protection film cost?
Porsche Standard gloss PPF packages start at $1,595 for sedans/coupes or $1,795 for SUVs/trucks for Strike Zone coverage. Complete full-front protection starts at $2,295 for sedans/coupes or $2,495 for SUVs/trucks, Apex Defense starts at $3,195 for sedans/coupes or $3,495 for SUVs/trucks, and full-body PPF starts at $6,995 for sedans/coupes or $7,995 for SUVs/trucks. Final pricing depends on the model, trim, film, paint condition, existing film, and requested coverage.
How should ceramic tint be selected for a Porsche?
Tint should be selected after reviewing the exact Porsche glass configuration and the driver's heat, glare, privacy, and visibility goals. Ceramic film can improve heat rejection even where factory privacy glass already changes the appearance of rear glass. Coupe, convertible, and Targa configurations, large rear glass, roof glass, low-cabin visibility, windshield sensor housings, and SUV privacy glass where equipped should be reviewed before the film and shade are selected.
Can Porsche matte paint, PPF, wheels, calipers, glass, and suitable carbon-fiber surfaces be ceramic coated?
Yes, compatible matte or gloss paint, compatible PPF, wheels, calipers, exterior glass, and suitable clear-coated carbon-fiber surfaces on a Porsche can be coated with products matched to each surface. Ceramic coating improves slickness, water behavior, gloss on suitable finishes, and ease of cleaning, but it does not provide rock-chip protection. Matte-safe and surface-specific products are required so the intended finish is preserved.
How is remote-start compatibility checked across Porsche gasoline, electric, manual-transmission, performance, and collector vehicles?
Remote-start compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Porsche before a system is recommended. Model year, powertrain, transmission, factory equipment, connected services, and modifications can change the available functions. Manual transmissions require added safety review, while electric, specialty, performance, and collector vehicles may rely on factory climate functions or have limited aftermarket options.
Can IGLA, SPYNEX, or another compatible immobilizer be installed on a Porsche?
An aftermarket immobilizer may be available for a Porsche, but compatibility is not assumed. The exact model, model year, electronic platform, and supported system must be reviewed before recommending IGLA, SPYNEX, or another option. Authorization methods and daily-use functions depend on the selected system.
Is GPS tracking useful for a Porsche kept seasonally, stored, or transported?
GPS tracking can add location visibility, movement alerts, and useful vehicle information for a Porsche used for seasonal ownership, storage, track travel, or transport. Available functions, cellular coverage, and update frequency depend on the hardware, service plan, signal conditions, and system configuration. Tracking does not prevent theft or guarantee recovery.
Is windshield protection film useful for preserving Porsche glass?
Windshield protection film can be worthwhile for a Porsche used for touring, seasonal driving, track travel, or original-glass preservation. Fitment and the existing glass condition must be confirmed before installation. The exterior film is a replaceable wear item, so clarity, service life, maintenance, and eventual replacement depend on mileage, wiper use, storage, and road exposure.
Can you work on a pre-owned Porsche with existing PPF, repainted panels, sensitive surfaces, or a specialty finish?
Yes, pre-owned, older, recently produced, electric, performance, track-oriented, and collector Porsche vehicles can be evaluated for protection, appearance, and compatible electronics. We inspect paint condition, prior repairs, repainted panels, existing film or coating, contamination, glass damage, modifications, specialty materials, and electronic-platform compatibility as relevant. Some conditions may limit installation or require correction, but correction is not always possible.
How long will the installation take?
Window tint may be completed during one appointment. Full-front PPF, coatings, wraps, full-body PPF, or combined packages may require multiple days. The expected schedule is provided after the vehicle and selected services are reviewed.
