Southeastern Massachusetts & Rhode Island

Residential Solutions for Builders, Contractors & Realtors

Coordinate glass & surface improvements with your project.

From residential window film to compatible surface protection, coatings and architectural wraps, Kickin’ Customs helps builders, contractors, realtors and property professionals evaluate suitable improvements and plan installation around the property. Based in Raynham, serving Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Make the space work for you

Bring the right surface service in at the right stage.

A property can be nearing completion and still have problems worth addressing: rooms with uncomfortable glare or unwanted visibility, new finishes that will see daily contact, surfaces that are difficult to maintain, or cabinetry that no longer fits the intended design.

Those decisions become harder when they compete with installation schedules, other trades, access restrictions and an approaching move-in, listing or turnover date.

Kickin' Customs helps builders, contractors, realtors and property professionals evaluate residential window film, surface protection film, coatings and architectural wraps. We review the receiving materials, recommend suitable options where available, and plan our agreed installation work around the project's actual readiness and approvals.

Choose Earlier, Install at the Right Time

Explore options and samples while material and finish decisions are being made. Schedule installation when the approved surfaces are ready.

Keep Responsibilities Clear

Define the agreed work, preparation, property access, approval contacts and conditions that may require another trade.

Make Owner Handoff Easier

Document approved products, installed locations, care requirements and applicable written warranty terms.

Use the planning stage to compare products, samples and installation details. Reserve the installation stage for surfaces that are complete, clean, stable and cured.

  • Before installation: review plans, materials, samples and quantities.
  • At installation: provide agreed access, clear areas and suitable conditions.
  • After installation: protect the work through cure and give the owner the care information.

Dust, sanding, wet work and conflicting trades can damage a new finish. A closing date or target move-in date helps us plan, but does not automatically confirm capacity.

Have Plans, Finish Schedules or Specifications? Start There.

Plans, window schedules, cabinet details, finish selections and existing specifications can help us understand the project before installation. We can review available information, compare suitable product options and discuss physical samples or manufacturer documentation where appropriate. Final measurements, surface conditions and installation eligibility may still require field verification.

Multi-unit and repeat work

Plan consistency across more than one property.

Start with a representative area

A sample room or pilot helps define approved materials, finishes, coverage and viewing expectations.

Check each unit’s differences

Glass, repairs, finishes, exposure and occupancy can vary even when the floor plans match.

Keep a usable handoff

Record installed locations, approved changes, care and any spare-material or future-repair plan.

This approach can support rental properties, condo developments, repeated room layouts, turnover projects and coordinated renovations. Future lots or replacement material may not match exactly.

Clear responsibilities

Keep coordination useful and approvals straightforward.

One decision path

Identify the owner and the people authorized to approve samples, changes and completed work.

Practical site access

Plan around residents, pets, belongings, privacy, utilities, staging, work zones and other trades.

A complete owner handoff

Agree on inspection, punch items, cure restrictions and the product-specific care and warranty record.

Authority, property transactions and existing defects

A realtor or other project contact may start a conversation before closing. Permanent work requires the current owner’s written authorization. Payer, access, association requirements, approval rights and any warranty transfer are confirmed separately.

Film, coating and wrap must not conceal damage that belongs in repair, inspection or disclosure. Failed seals, cracked glass, leaks, mold, swelling and unstable surfaces need the correct response. No sale-price, appraisal, offer-count or closing-speed outcome is promised.

Site readiness, permits and other trades

The responsible project parties confirm applicable permits, inspections, association approvals, fire or egress requirements and any licensed-trade or design-professional involvement. We provide information for our agreed work; we do not approve the entire building or manage every other trade.

Suspected lead paint, asbestos, mold, silica, unsafe glass or other hazardous conditions need appropriate assessment before affected work. Paid work that disturbs painted surfaces in many pre-1978 homes can be subject to EPA renovation requirements. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, glazing and structural or specialist repair belong with the appropriate qualified parties.

Agree on access equipment, power, water where needed, lighting, ventilation, environmental conditions, protection and cleanup. Plans do not replace field verification. Do not send security codes or confidential access details through this page.

Changes, final inspection and warranty

Different quantities, products, field conditions or access can change preparation, price or schedule. Review and approve a written revision before the affected work continues. Samples do not prove long-term performance or damage-free future removal.

Inspect against the approved sample, normal viewing conditions and product-specific cure expectations. Record punch items separately from existing defects and other-trade damage. Care, manufacturer coverage, workmanship, labor, removal and transfer follow the exact written terms, with no blanket warranty across services.

Professional installation

From early planning to installation and owner handoff.

  1. 01

    Discuss the project early

Identify your role, owner, phase, services and target installation window. Start with the current plans or photographs you have.

  2. 02

    Verify and approve

Review representative surfaces, samples and field conditions. Agree on products, coverage, assumptions and the authorized decision-maker.

  3. 03

    Coordinate installation

Confirm other-trade sequencing, access, environmental conditions and surface cure. Resolve changes before affected work proceeds.

  4. 04

    Inspect and hand off

Review completed areas, record punch items and give the final owner product locations, care and applicable warranty information.

A few useful answers

Questions before you choose.

When should we involve Kickin’ Customs?

Start while goals, finishes and the schedule are being discussed. Early review helps identify samples, product suitability and access needs. Installation waits until the actual glass or surface, cure conditions and surrounding work are ready.

Can a realtor start an inquiry before closing?

Yes. An inquiry can begin before a transaction, but permanent work needs the current owner’s written authorization. Access, payment, closing conditions and any warranty transfer must be confirmed. A service is not a guarantee of sale price, appraisal or closing speed.

What information is useful for an initial review?

Begin with your role, property town, project phase, service interest, affected rooms or units and desired outcome. Available plans, specifications, finish schedules, photographs, approximate quantities and material information can follow when needed. A complete construction-document package is not required to start a conversation.

Can you coordinate several Residential services?

Yes, where each application is suitable. Window film, protection film, coatings and wraps keep separate product, preparation, care and warranty requirements. We coordinate our agreed work, not the management of every trade on the project.

Can you work in occupied or turnover properties?

Projects can be evaluated when access is lawful and safe. We plan around residents, pets, belongings, privacy, utilities, work zones and cure restrictions. General access needs are useful initially; do not send alarm, lockbox or security codes through this page.

Can a pilot establish a standard for multiple units?

A representative unit and approved sample can help define products, coverage, seams and handoff records. Other units still need condition checks. Different glass, finishes, repairs, exposure and material lots may require adjustments; exact future matching is not guaranteed.

Who handles permits, hazardous conditions and other trades?

The responsible project parties confirm permits, approvals, qualified trades and any hazardous-material requirements. Suspected lead paint, asbestos, mold, unsafe glass or other hazards need appropriate assessment before affected work. Kickin’ Customs does not certify the whole property or replace a licensed design or regulated-trade professional.

What if the site or plans change?

We review the affected work before proceeding. Different surfaces, quantities, products, access or timing may need a written revision or change order. Installation dates depend on confirmed material availability, approvals, readiness and capacity.

How are builder and multi-unit projects quoted?

Each project is quoted individually based on the services, quantities, preparation, access and installation requirements. Your written proposal explains the agreed work, scheduling assumptions and any applicable sample, visit or travel charges.

What happens at inspection and owner handoff?

The agreed contact reviews the work against the approved sample and project plan, with product-specific cure expectations. Any punch items are recorded separately from existing conditions or other-trade damage. The final owner receives care and warranty information; transfer, labor and removal coverage depend on the exact written terms.
