The installation bay at Kickin’ Customs in Raynham

Our Company · Raynham, MA

From check-in to the final walkthrough.

Good results start before the installation. Here’s what to expect at a typical automotive installation appointment, from planning and check-in to preparation, installation, inspection, and pickup.

Before your appointment

A Little Planning Goes a Long Way.

Before your visit, we’ll confirm the services you’ve selected, discuss important vehicle details, and review the expected schedule. We’ll also explain any special preparation or arrangements in advance.

Specialty and off-site projects follow a plan suited to the project.

Five steps

A clear process for your visit.

  1. Arrival & check-in

We review your vehicle with you, confirm the agreed work, and document its condition and any existing concerns. It’s also a chance to ask questions before the installation begins.

  2. Preparation

Preparation depends on the service. Film and coating work can require washing, surface cleaning, and inspection. Electronics installations need vehicle-specific planning. Bright lighting and climate-controlled bays help us prepare carefully and see the details.

  3. Installation

We use methods suited to each product and vehicle, whether applying film, coatings, or wraps, or fitting security and electronic systems. Custom projects may need additional planning. For commercial graphics, design and proof approval come before installation where needed.

  4. Inspection & finishing

We review the completed work and make any needed refinements. Checks depend on the service and may include film alignment and edges, surface finish, wrap details, or electronic functions and user controls.

  5. Handoff & aftercare

We review the finished work and explain care for your installation. Depending on the service, that may include film curing, initial washing or window-use restrictions, coating care, or a demonstration of security and electronic systems. We also review applicable maintenance and warranty information.

For PPF installations: return at three weeks for your complimentary inspection. This visit is required for Kickin’ Customs workmanship coverage and is separate from the manufacturer’s material warranty.
