Paint Protection Film
A physical layer between the paint and everyday debris or abrasion. Choose it when reducing chips and preserving exposed painted panels is the priority.
Ceramic Coating
A surface treatment that adds water repellency, makes routine cleaning easier, and supports the finish. It can be applied to suitable paint, film, and other surfaces with the appropriate product.
Compatible film and coating products can work together. We can plan PPF for impact-prone areas and a coating for easier care, checking compatibility with your chosen film.

Repainting Adds Up Fast
Repairing a painted panel can involve preparation, color matching, refinishing, and blending into adjacent panels. Preserving the original finish means avoiding that work when possible, not simply keeping the vehicle looking clean.

PPF adds a replaceable protective layer over the finish. When the film takes the damage and the paint underneath remains sound, the affected film section can often be replaced without refinishing that panel.

We inspect and clean the paint, then discuss any additional correction or repair before installation.
Vehicle-Specific Patterns and Film Preparation
Vehicle-specific XPEL patterns and suitable custom methods help us fit the film and finish accessible edges.
Installation and Accessible Edge Finishing
We fit the film in our clean, climate-controlled space and confirm accessible edge finishing for your vehicle. We remove emblems where applicable.
Final Inspection and Pickup Guidance
We inspect the finish with you and explain settling, initial care and routine cleaning. Timing is confirmed with your quote.
Complimentary Three-Week Follow-Up
Return for your complimentary three-week inspection of settling, edges and appearance. This visit is required for Kickin’ Customs workmanship coverage; manufacturer film coverage is separate. Contact us sooner if an edge lifts or film becomes loose.

Questions Before You Choose?
What does PPF protect against?
PPF adds a physical layer that helps reduce rock chips, road rash, light scuffs, and everyday wear on covered surfaces. The self-healing topcoat can make fine marks in the film less noticeable. Deep cuts, severe impacts, and damage to the underlying paint are not repaired by self-healing.
Which areas should I protect?
Start with the areas exposed to the most wear. The front bumper, hood, mirrors, and fenders are common priorities, with rockers and broader side-body coverage useful for some vehicles and driving habits. Compare the five packages above, or ask us to help plan coverage around your vehicle.
Will PPF change the vehicle’s appearance?
Clear gloss PPF keeps the existing paint color and glossy appearance visible. XPEL STEALTH offers a satin look or protection for appropriate factory matte finishes, while Color PPF changes the finish. We can review physical samples and the available options with you.
Can PPF be installed on a vehicle that is not new?
Yes. We inspect the paint and discuss the preparation needed for an older or previously repaired vehicle. PPF protects the surface it covers; it does not repair existing chips, deep scratches, or failing paint.
How long does XPEL PPF last?
Service life depends on the film, use, exposure, and care. ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH carry a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty under their terms; that warranty period is not a guaranteed service life. ULTIMATE FUSION has separate requirements, including annual inspections. See our PPF warranty page for product-specific coverage and follow the care guide.
Can ceramic coating be added over PPF?
A compatible ceramic coating can be added to suitable PPF for easier cleaning and care. The correct product depends on the selected film. ULTIMATE FUSION already has a built-in water-repellent surface; ask us to confirm current guidance before adding a coating over it.
How do I get a vehicle-specific quote?

Can damaged film be replaced on one panel?
Often, yes. We assess the affected area and the surrounding film to plan repair or replacement. If the paint underneath remains sound, replacing the damaged film can avoid refinishing that panel. Existing film condition and finish matching are reviewed before the work.
