Product Warranty
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS 7 carries XPEL’s 10-year limited warranty against covered film defects, including yellowing, cracking, blistering and delamination. Specialty finishes follow their own manufacturer’s terms, which we review before installation. Read XPEL’s warranty terms.
Workmanship Follow-Up
Your complimentary three-week inspection checks settling, edges, appearance, and the operation of protected screens and controls. This inspection is required for Kickin’ Customs workmanship coverage.
Interior Care
Follow the cleaning instructions supplied at collection. Use a clean, soft microfiber and an approved cleaner, and avoid picking or rubbing at film edges.
If an edge lifts or a protected screen or control develops an operating concern, contact the shop promptly or call 617-431-6858.

Questions Before You Book
Which screens and trim can be protected?
Smooth, suitable hard surfaces can include infotainment screens, digital displays, piano-black consoles, gloss carbon fiber, painted trim and smooth entry trim. We confirm coverage for your vehicle and interior. Leather, fabric and soft-touch materials need a separate protection plan.
Will the film change appearance or touch response?
We assess the display and select suitable film before installation, then check touch response and normal screen operation before collection. Clear film keeps the display visible, although surface feel and reflections may differ from the uncovered screen. Specialty finishes are used on selected trim to change its appearance.
Can it improve the appearance of existing light marks?
Some light surface marks may become less noticeable, but film does not repair deep scratches, cracked screens, or failing finishes. We inspect the surface before recommending installation.
Can I choose carbon fiber or forged carbon?
Yes. Carbon fiber, forged carbon, matte, gloss black and other available finishes can be considered for suitable trim. You can combine decorative trim with clear screen protection.
Can the film be professionally removed?
Yes, film can be professionally removed. Surface condition matters: fragile display coatings, previous repairs and failing finishes can carry additional risk. Contact us before peeling or removing film so we can assess the surface.
How long does installation take?
Timing depends on the vehicle, surfaces selected, film and preparation needed. We confirm the expected appointment duration with your quote.
How do I care for protected screens and trim?
Follow the product-specific settling and cleaning instructions provided at collection. Use a clean, soft microfiber and a cleaner approved for the film and surface. Avoid abrasive products, harsh solvents and picking at film edges. Contact the shop promptly if an edge lifts or a protected screen or control develops an operating concern.
How much does Interior PPF cost?
Pricing depends on your vehicle, selected surfaces, finish, and the preparation needed. You can request a quote and help planning your interior without choosing coverage or a finish.
What warranty applies to Interior PPF?
Manufacturer coverage follows the selected product. Clear XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS 7 has XPEL’s 10-year limited product warranty; specialty finishes have their own manufacturer terms. Kickin’ Customs’ separate one-year workmanship guarantee covers installation-related defects under our shop terms and requires the complimentary three-week inspection.
