Know what the camera does.

It does not replace an alarm.

Alarm detection comes from the security system. A Dashcam does not prevent theft or replace an immobilizer.

It does not enable Remote Start.

That requires Remote Start equipment.

Remote features need service.

LTE Live View needs an active Dash Cam plan.

Three cameras are not 360°.

More views still leave blind spots.

Qualifying XC2 hardware defects are covered for the original purchaser under current manufacturer terms. Damage, misuse, unauthorized work, and connected-service issues are not hardware-defect coverage.

Does Drone XC2 work without Compustar?

Yes. Use it as a connected Dashcam without adding a complete alarm or Remote Start system.

How much does Drone XC2 cost installed?

2CH starts at $699 or as low as $117/mo; 3CH starts at $898 or as low as $77/mo. Both start with 64GB and standard installation. Connected service is separate.

Does the XC2 package include a rear camera?

Yes. Our 2CH package includes the 2K front camera and rear camera.

Can I add an interior camera?

Yes, after equipment confirmation: $199 installed or as low as $33/mo. It adds a cabin view, not complete exterior coverage.

Can XC2 show live video, and does it need a subscription?

Nearby Wi-Fi and remote LTE access are different. LTE Live View and other connected features require an active DroneMobile Dash Cam plan and available power and signal.

Does XC2 include GPS?

Yes. DroneMobile location features depend on your active service and connection.

Can XC2 work with my Compustar alarm?

Often, after we confirm the equipment. The alarm supplies its security functions; XC2 adds video. It does not create Remote Start or door control by itself.

Can XC2 record while parked?

Yes, when installed for Parking Mode. Power, mode, camera view, and storage limit recording. No runtime or complete event capture is guaranteed.

How does XC2 compare with BlackVue?

XC2 centers on DroneMobile and Compustar. BlackVue offers a broader dedicated-camera lineup, including dual-4K and separate-recorder options.

How does XC2 compare with Momento M8 Max?
