Hull vehicles & practical care
Ocean wind, coastal moisture and sand residue are relevant to Hull vehicle care. Avoid wiping a dusty or sandy panel dry; rinsing, appropriate washing and safe drying remain essential parts of maintaining a coated finish.
An inspection at our Raynham facility connects those care priorities with the condition of your vehicle. Additional surfaces are quoted according to compatibility and access.
Rinse loose sand and grit before touching the finish with a wash mitt. A coated surface can still be scratched by abrasive particles.
Salt residue and moisture still require cleaning and drying. Coating can make upkeep easier, but it is not rustproofing or a guarantee against water spots.
Choose additional surfaces for the cleaning priorities you identify. The written quote confirms products, preparation and included coverage.

Explore financingWhy ceramic coating

Bring out the clarity and reflections in properly prepared glossy paint.
Hydrophobic behavior encourages beading and helps water move off the finish.
Road film and salt residue become easier to release with safe, regular washing.
Helps resist UV exposure and environmental contamination. Prompt cleanup remains important.
Keep expectations clear. Ceramic coating does not stop rock chips, deep scratches, dents, door dings or physical impacts. Water spots and staining can still occur. For physical protection, consider PPF.

Product knowledge and preparation belong in the same conversation. We explain the work and finished-surface care before installation.

Choose around the concern
For gloss, slickness, hydrophobic behavior, environmental resistance and easier routine washing.
A physical film for protection against rock chips, road debris, abrasion and impacts on vulnerable painted surfaces.
Many vehicles benefit from both. PPF provides the physical layer; a compatible ceramic coating makes the protected finish easier to maintain. Neither coating nor film prevents dents or collisions.

We inspect the paint before confirming preparation. The coating follows the washing, decontamination and any included safe correction.
Quick preparation
Inspection, washing, appropriate chemical and mechanical decontamination, and preparation for coating adhesion. No machine polishing.
One-step polish
One polishing stage improves gloss and lighter correctable defects where the surface allows. Safe correction limits guide the approach.
Two-step correction
Separate cutting and refining stages where safe, followed by panel preparation and coating. Includes IR-assisted curing and the first annual maintenance wash.
Review the finish, film, paint condition and prior repairs.
Remove dirt and bonded contamination as surfaces allow.
Complete the preparation in your selected package.
Remove residue, then apply the correct surface-specific product.
Inspect the work, allow initial curing and explain aftercare.
Safe correction comes first. Paint thickness, condition and repair history determine what can be improved. No complete defect removal or fixed correction percentage is promised. Chips, deep scratches and damaged paint or film may remain.

Questions from Hull drivers
Clear answers about coating, coverage and owning a coated vehicle in New England.
7 days: no washing unless we give different surface-specific instructions.
2–3 weeks: typical curing time.
Every 6 months: XPEL Ceramic Boost, or your surface-specific plan.
Every year: applicable warranty inspection.
Sand can still scratch a coated surface. Rinse loose sand and grit away thoroughly before contact washing. Use appropriate products and clean wash media, then dry safely. Do not wipe a sandy panel dry. Ceramic coating does not prevent scratches caused by abrasive particles.
Coating can make residue easier to release during safe washing, but salt deposits and moisture still need attention. Dry the finish carefully and remove contamination promptly. Ceramic coating is not rustproofing and does not prevent every water spot or stain.
Coating is clear and does not replace paint correction. Core includes quick preparation without machine polishing; Plus and Elite include a one-step polish. Signature and Signature Complete include two-step correction where safe. Paint thickness and condition determine what can be improved.
You can select wheel faces or full wheel faces, inner barrels and calipers, subject to compatibility and safe access. These are additional to the base paint packages unless included in a selected bundle or Signature Complete. Coating supports easier brake-dust cleanup, not damage prevention.
Core generally takes one to two days, Plus two to three, Elite three to four, and Signature about four days. Preparation, additional surfaces and curing can affect timing. Confirm the planned drop-off and pickup in the quote before arranging transportation.
Yes. New paint still needs inspection, washing, appropriate decontamination and preparation for coating adhesion. The amount of correction depends on the actual finish and the package selected. A new vehicle is not automatically free of paint defects.
