Can I maintain coating if I use a professional wash service?
Plan access to a suitable wash service or a safe place to clean and dry the vehicle with coating-compatible products. Discuss that routine before choosing a package. Coating still requires washing; avoid cleaning methods that drag dirty media across the finish.
Is coating useful if the vehicle spends much of the day parked?
Parking conditions affect how often the vehicle needs care. If it stays outdoors, remove pollen, bird droppings and other contamination promptly. Coating can support easier cleanup, but it does not prevent door dings, dents or other physical impacts.
Does a new vehicle still need paint preparation?
Yes. New paint still needs inspection, washing, appropriate decontamination and preparation for coating adhesion. The amount of correction depends on the actual finish and the package selected. A new vehicle is not automatically free of paint defects.
Is glass coating included in a base paint package?
Base packages cover approved paint and compatible PPF specified in the quote. Glass is additional unless expressly included. The listed protection bundles include the windshield only; side and rear glass require an upgrade, and roof glass is separate outside Signature Complete.
When can I wash after the appointment?
Do not wash for seven days unless we provide different surface-specific instructions. Typical curing takes two to three weeks. Follow the wash and drying guidance for the coated surfaces and ask us about contamination that needs attention during the initial care period.
When should I consider PPF as well as coating?
Consider PPF when rock chips, road debris or abrasion on vulnerable painted areas are the concern. Ceramic coating supports gloss, slickness, water behavior and easier washing. They can be combined on compatible surfaces, but neither prevents dents or collisions.
Is the coating installed in Arlington or Raynham?
All installation takes place at Kickin’ Customs, 244 North Main Street, Raynham, MA 02767. There is no Kickin’ Customs coating location in Arlington. Confirm preparation, service timing and pickup before traveling. Qualifying loaner availability and local ride assistance depend on eligibility, availability, service area and current terms.
