How do I choose practical coverage for an everyday family car?
Start with the paint condition and the cleaning work that matters to you. Base packages cover approved paint and compatible PPF in the quote. Wheels, glass, trim and approved interior surfaces are additional unless included in a specified package or bundle. We confirm compatibility and access first.
Does garage parking mean I can skip coating maintenance?
A garage can limit some outdoor exposure, but road film and brake dust still collect while the vehicle is driven. Follow the washing, booster and applicable inspection plan for the coated surfaces rather than relying on storage alone.
Does an EV need a different coating package?
Package selection follows finish condition, compatible surfaces, use and maintenance needs. Tell us about the vehicle and any existing PPF so we can confirm appropriate preparation and coverage. Coating does not change the vehicle’s charging requirements or replace regular washing.
Can I add interior surface coating?
Approved interior upholstery and fabric can be coated when compatible and serviceable. Advanced Surface Protection and Signature Complete include specified interior coverage. Interior PPF for hard, high-touch surfaces is a separate service. Confirm the exact materials and coverage in the quote.
When can I wash after the appointment?
Do not wash for seven days unless we provide different surface-specific instructions. Typical curing takes two to three weeks. Follow the wash and drying guidance for the coated surfaces and ask us about contamination that needs attention during the initial care period.
Is the product warranty the same as guaranteed coating life?
No. Core has a one-year product warranty, Plus a four-year warranty, and Elite and Signature an eight-year paint-coating product warranty, subject to current terms. Registration, care and applicable inspections matter. Mileage, storage and washing affect performance.
Where do Wellesley customers bring their vehicles?
All installation takes place at Kickin’ Customs, 244 North Main Street, Raynham, MA 02767. There is no Kickin’ Customs coating location in Wellesley.
