What should I do when pollen or sap collects on coated paint?
Rinse loose pollen and dust away before contact washing with suitable products and clean wash media. Do not rub sap or gritty residue across the paint. Ask for surface-specific advice if contamination will not release; coating does not prevent every stain.
How should I balance storage and driving when planning aftercare?
A garage can limit some outdoor exposure, but road film and brake dust still collect while the vehicle is driven. Follow the washing, booster and applicable inspection plan for the coated surfaces rather than relying on storage alone.
Can matte or satin finishes be coated?
Compatible matte or satin paint and approved XPEL STEALTH PPF can use FUSION PLUS SATIN with finish-safe preparation. The matte/satin option starts at $1795 with a four-year product warranty subject to terms. Conventional polishing, glass coating and protection bundles are not included.
Can I add a surface-protection bundle?
Choose one listed bundle with Plus, Elite or Signature Protection. Exterior Essentials starts at +$695, Performance Exterior at +$1195 and Advanced Surface Protection at +$1995. Core, matte/satin and standalone services are not eligible; Signature Complete does not take an additional bundle.
How long should I plan to leave the vehicle?
Core generally takes one to two days, Plus two to three, Elite three to four, and Signature about four days. Preparation, additional surfaces and curing can affect timing. Confirm the planned drop-off and pickup in the quote before arranging transportation.
Does a new vehicle still need paint preparation?
Yes. New paint still needs inspection, washing, appropriate decontamination and preparation for coating adhesion. The amount of correction depends on the actual finish and the package selected. A new vehicle is not automatically free of paint defects.
Where does preparation and pickup take place for Wayland owners?
All installation takes place at Kickin’ Customs, 244 North Main Street, Raynham, MA 02767. There is no Kickin’ Customs coating location in Wayland. Confirm preparation, service timing and pickup before traveling. Qualifying loaner availability and local ride assistance depend on eligibility, availability, service area and current terms.
