Is ceramic coating worthwhile for a Boston daily driver?
It can make regular washing more manageable by adding slickness, water repellency and environmental contamination resistance. Whether you park on a Back Bay street or in a Seaport garage, traffic film and seasonal grime still need removal. If you do not have a driveway or hose, plan access to safe washing before choosing a coating. We match the preparation and surfaces to your care routine.
Will it make winter road-salt cleanup easier?
Coating helps salt residue and grime release during washing. It does not replace winter washing, and it is not rustproofing or a guarantee against salt damage. Remove contamination promptly and follow the aftercare instructions for each coated surface.
Which package makes sense, and what does it cost?
Plus Protection is recommended for most vehicles, starting at $1795 with one-step polishing and a four-year product warranty. Core starts at $1395 with quick preparation and no machine polishing. Elite starts at $2295 with one-step polishing and an eight-year product warranty. Signature starts at $3295 with two-step correction where safe, IR-assisted curing and the first annual maintenance wash. Final pricing depends on the vehicle, condition and selected surfaces.
How long will the coating perform in Massachusetts weather?
Real-world performance depends on the product, surface, exposure and care. Core has a one-year product warranty, Plus four years, and Elite and Signature eight years, subject to current terms. A warranty is not a promise of unchanged gloss, slickness or water behavior throughout that period. Registration, regular care and applicable annual inspections still matter.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches or rock chips?
No. Ceramic coating does not prevent rock chips, deep scratches, dents, door dings or physical impacts. PPF is the physical layer to consider for road debris and abrasion. Many Boston commuters choose PPF on vulnerable panels with a compatible coating for easier maintenance.
Are wheels and glass included in the base packages?
No. Core, Plus, Elite and Signature Protection cover approved paint and compatible PPF specified in the quote. Wheel, caliper, glass, trim and interior coatings are additional. Eligible bundles include windshield coating; side and rear glass are quoted as upgrades. Signature Complete includes its listed exterior glass coverage, plus all roof glass at no additional charge.

All installation takes place at our Raynham shop, 244 North Main Street. Confirm the package, expected service time and drop-off before traveling from Boston. Arrange pickup after we confirm the vehicle is ready. Ask about qualifying loaner availability or local ride assistance when booking; neither is automatic, and a full Boston round trip should not be assumed covered.
