To ensure the film adheres properly, please avoid rolling down your windows or using the rear defroster for 2-5 days, depending on the season. The full curing process takes about 2-5 days in warm weather but can last up to two weeks in colder conditions.
Step 6: Long-Term Aftercare
Once cured, clean the film using only an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth to prevent damage to the adhesive and tint. Avoid abrasive materials like paper towels or scouring pads, as these can leave fine scratches on the film's surface. How do I choose the right shade and film?
We demo heat on our in-shop display and show shade cards next to your glass. Ceramic (XR or XR Plus) is best for comfort. Dyed (Color Stable) is great for style and value.
What should I expect after install?
